I thought that holding penalty on Michael Oher was pretty bad. I don't think you make a call that weak at that point in the game. I think everyone would be destroying the replacement refs for the same call.

with the emphasis being put on player safety recently, i can't understand how the hit on cribbs was legal. there was no attempt to use tackling technique, the defender just used his body as a weapon.
if someone did that to a scrambling quarterback there would be uproar.

Almost forgot about Joe Thomas doing his best soccer impression at the end of the game and getting the Browns 1 last chance to tie the game. LOL those refs got played just like the replacement refs.

Because punt returners aren't defenseless recievers.

Helmet to Helmet is, I thought it was a forearm to the helmet that got him?

the defender just lowered his shoulder and drove it through the side of cribbs head. it looks worse in the cold light of day when i haven't been drinking.
i can't believe that's legal, that was every bit as dangerous as the heyward-bey or schaub hits last week.

Close to a helmet to helmet but it looked like he led with the shoulder there and Cribbs was hunkered down. There's no accounting for that in the split second this shit happens in. In slowmo it looks brutal but in real time can you even tell what happened to him other than his helmet popping off? The Heyward-bey hit you could see in real time that it was a complete and utter destruction of a man, this one needed slowmo replays to figure out exactly what happened to him.
Texans skull fucked the Titans. JJ Watt continues his quest for DPOY while the Texans defense alone scores as much as Tenn including their garbage time TD at the end of the game. Watch out NYJ. 41-0 will be much worse when Houston comes to town.

Damn, the Niners didnt even play all that well. Our passing game was completely off and our special teams had a lackluster game..but damn. We could have scored 50 just rushing the ball and taking advantage of Mark Sanchez. Good of Harbaugh to show clemency though. I think we well established that they don't belong on the same field with the Niners even when the Niners are having a C+ game. Rex Ryan should be grateful considering just a couple years ago he tampered with Michael Crabtree and then tried to call us out.
Good to see the D came for blood after phoning it in last week.

Romo is the best bad qb in the league. Or is he the worst good qb? I don't know but it seems like every year for the past handful of years everyone is always making a case for his eliteness, throwing him in the same group with Rogers and Brady and Manning and the like. I never see it though.

i know it doesn't really matter either way but i struggle to see how lance briggs TD was an INT as opposed to a fumble recovery.
it doesn't matter in any real context but some prick somewhere will make a big issue of it at the end of the year when romo is credited with 17 INTs instead of 16.
