Tito to be inducted into the UFC hall of fame prior to UFC 148!

It is well deserved and although I havent always liked Tito is is definitely a Hall of Famer. Im going to be rooting for him big time to beat Forrest Griffin and retire on a winning note.

I will take a Forrest win.

Tito does deserve HOF though.

Agree with Frank

First UFC LHW champion, successfully defended it 4 times including against incoming HOF Tito? Never lost the title. He should have been in the UFC's HOF when it was created in 2003 with Royce and his brother. Overall, i think somebody like Frank is more important because Frank was one of the prototypes of the modern MMA fighter, IMO.

Tito is going to be on Herd in just a little while.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has officially announced the Hall-of-Fame induction ceremony for its longest-reigning Light Heavyweight Champion of all time as Tito Ortiz becomes the ninth mixed martial artist to be inducted when he's honored "mid-day" on July 7, 2012 at the UFC Fan Expo inside the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Ortiz, who competes for the last time inside the Octagon against Forrest Griffin at the UFC 148: "Silva vs. Sonnen 2" pay-per-view (PPV) event later that night, joins Matt Hughes, Charles ‘Mask' Lewis, Mark Coleman, Royce Gracie, Ken Shamrock, Dan Severn, Chuck Liddell and Randy Couture in the "pantheon of Octagon immortals."
