| 1. Ian McCall - he was the #1 going in against Mighty Mouse and got the draw. Has done the most at the division 2. Joseph Benavidez - looked awesome vs Urushitani but got lucky he faced the easiest draw in tourney. 3. Mighty Mouse - looked good vs the #1 fighter in the division. 4. Jussier da Silva - best fighter outside UFC, needs to stay active. 5. Urushitani - hadn't lost since 2008 but he needs to do something after that shellacking. 6. Dodson - this is about where he belongs 7. Mitsuhisa Sunabe - on a 3 fight win streak but the competition has been sub par. 8. Louis Gaudenot - the little gremlin has a home. 9. The Fro Yamaguchi - needs to fight, its been a while now. 10. Nam Jin "Crazy" Jo - coming off a big win over a legit top 15fighter. 11. Haruo Ochi - another fighter that is talented coming off a big win 12. Sean Santella - good fighter, needs to face better competition. 13. Montague - I think this is about where he should be a little higher or lower is fine with me. 14. Tim Elliot - really came to fight against Dodson 15. Shinichi Kojima - honestly he should probably be higher. | |

| i like how two guys who have only had 1 flyweight bout each have formed 2/3 of the top 3. O the UFC machine or perhaps too soon to form a meaningful top 10. Even McCall has hardly any fights at 125. I say give this division time because any top 10 of now is gonna look ridiculous a year from now because just about everybody is talking about fighters they know nothing about outside of what UFC has showcased and maybe for some, Tachi.
Elliot got hosed and Dodson aint top 10 nothin. I dont get the hype. Record is pretty pedestrian and havent been impressed.

| I can agree with that Kings and the only reason I don't have Ulysses on here is because he is the Tai Chi Bantam champ now. | |

| Dodson to me winning that 135 tournament proves what kind of talent he is. He has been a renowned 125'r out of Jackson's for about as long as we've been at this forum. Mouse and Joe did leap frog guys, but again, they are in the title hunt, and were bout it at 135 against much larger dudes, so to me, that justifies their rankings there. Besides, Joe beat one of the clear consensus top 3 125'rs like a stepchild, and we saw how close Johnson fought with the consensus 1 flyweight. These guys have been lying in wait for the chance to fight at flyweight since the WEC. They're ranked where they should be. I know we're paranoid not to rank fools too high due to the "UFC machine" or whatever that is, but again, these guys were able to hang with 135'rs for a reason. Good rankings bird. Except for the whole not ranking Somdet. | |

| I could be eating a ton of crow, but I think Creepy is going to handle Mouse this time around. After the first fight I'm fully convinced Creepy is faster, has better wrestling and more dynamic striking. He will win the 1st UFC Fly title...yes, his balls taste fantastic. | |

| I think McCall didn't win because of the moments were he was standing in front of Mighty Mouse and not letting his hands go, those were the only times he was getting rocked, when he was fooling around. | |

I'm tempted to say Creepy will put Mouse away. But Mouse is a tough fucker, so it will be difficult.

Good rankings bird. Except for the whole not ranking Somdet. i don't think success at 135 should figure that much into it. I think being faster and the fact that BW is not an incredibly deep division helped DJ and Benavidez..more so DJ(overrated), Benavidez never even had to move down if not for Faber being his teammate , otherwise he would be the perennial contender. Especially does not mean much for Dodson as his tourny was a joke and he got smacked up in his UFC flyweight debut. Elliot beat Dodson, got robbed and ends up 7 slots below him in Bird's rankings? Kool aid.
