Joe Silva's LHW matchmaking has been a little off for me, I would have went with

Machida vs. Shad II
Gus vs. Bader or Davis
Shogun vs. Lil Nog II
Page vs. Murdaface

I like it. I hope Bader is up for the challenge. He looked good vs Rampage.

Which wasn't hard given that Page looked like dog poop. Lets not forget the fact Quinton couldn't even be bothered making the 205 limit.

Sometimes it has to be thrown out in the LHW and HW divisions where they are stale as fuck outside the top guys

Rampage vs Gus and Lil Nog vs Rashad?

At least no one said OH DIZ SUCKS UFC JUS TRY AND GIVE MACHIDA A WIN HERE this time.

Rampage is on the shelf for almost a year with double knee surgery. Evans is probably chillaxin' for a few months.

The UFC typically keeps it winner vs winner but they also like to make fresh match ups whenever possible and to build contenders. Obviously this match up is designed to build one of these fighters back into contention. Bader has a bit of momentum with a good KO over Brilz, then a decision over Page who had just fought for the title. Machida's last fight was also for the title. Both guys are top ten.

Bader gets underrated a bit I think because of the Tito upset. I think he's a great fighter.

I hear a lot of fans bitching about UFC LHW match making these days. But we're not gonna have guys on huge winning streaks fighting anymore, unless we want to start booking more fights with former contenders, top ten guys and champions vs James Te Huna and Anthony Perosh.

Other than Cain vs jds this is best free fox fight yet IMO with rashad v Phil Davis coming in behind , look forward to this fight

I agree wolf bader has been underrated after the Tito loss

Same, I remember arguing with a mate who thought Bader would win. I said Jones would massacre him and that Bader doesn't dererve to be in the same cage with him.

dont make rankings anymore..he just isnt that good. He certainly does not belong in the company that a lackluster win over the limping, disinterested, overweight corpse of Quinton Jackson placed him in..and Lyoto should prove that in LA.

I donno man, I think he is a top ten fighter and this is a pretty sweet fight. Kid has good wrestling and power in his hands. No need to hate on him.

He's top 10 but he'll never be top 5.

Machida is beatable. Not that I think he will lose, but he ain't immune to dreamland.

Nader is easy top 10 to 8 material might surprise a lot of ppl if he can cage wrestle with machida .
