Despite that fact he still deserves a title shot and should fight GSP. Just because more than likely Hardy will lose to GSP doesn't mean we should just forget about the fight all together. Look what happened with Serra. Anything could happen in MMA.

I just want to see him face one of the other top guys first, make him really earn a title shot. Beating Marcus Davis and Mike Swick is great but I don't think he could beat Fitch, Alves, or Koscheck. Hell, I'm not even sure he could beat Daley, Condit, or Kampmann.

+1, what because GSP whooped up on Fitch and Alves, that means Hardy should get a streamlined title fight without fighting any of the top contendors? Let alone tuf, has there ever been a mismatch of this proportion on that show.

Machida and Shogun would be good next coaches .. except machida's english still isnt all there, and they wont bring much drama like perhaps Hardy would ... but this would give a reason for the extended time (hand surgury) before the rematch and maybe add more hype to the fight than it already has...

Let non title fighters be coaches like say Jardine & Franklin
