So, he's done with kickboxing(for now) to focus on boxing. How do you guys think he will fare? Naazim Richardson is training him, he's worked with guys like Lacey and Hopkins. That should be helpful. Hari already has a lot of great natural talent striking, but the longer fight time will be something he needs to adjust to immediately. Hopefully he can put together something interesting and get some notable HW fights.

He said that at the end of last year, wasn't sure if he was going to follow up on it or not.

Kickboxing legend Badr Hari has officially embarked on his professional boxing career as he now has two weeks under his belt working with world-class trainer Naazim Richardson. "It's my second week here and training is going well. I went to the gym and hooked up with Naazim," Hari revealed during a recent coversation. "We just have a good connection and the vibe is very good. I think we have some serious future plans ahead of us; everything is going how I expected it to be going." Those future plans include an upcoming trip to Big Bear when Richardson links up with three-division world champion "Sugar" Shane Mosley to start training for their upcoming clash with WBC jr. middleweight champion Saul "canelo" Alvarez. It's an opportunity that Hari is looking forward to.

can I just say I love that Badr has hooked up with a LEGITIMATE boxing trainer, this isn't Diaz with his MMA guys trying to train for a boxing bout, this is Badr training with one of the best trainers in the game and he is going to BIG BEAR the home of Archie Moore, the home of Joe Louis, Muhammad Ali, this is the holy sacred training ground for boxing.
and Badr Hari is going there to get ready for his boxing career. I fucking love it, right attitude to have, not a Im going to do this my way type, no he is following proven history. Smart man.

The HW division badly needs this transition to be successful.
