Bones seems to have a little brother complex with Evans which makes me doubt this line as entirely accurate. I firmly believe Jackson and Bones ducked Evan early on to give them more time together, but Evan's camp is the biggest joke in MMA and so far has one of the worst winning percentages of any "major camp" in the UFC. Blackzillians dont just lose, they get destroyed. So I just dont know.

Bones should destroy Evans, but we will see...

I live in Connecticut, so no, I'm not training with them. I'm not upset at all, but your comments on this and other threads of late have been full of tryhard. I've been an advocate of the notion that Jones has ducked Rashad for a while now. I'm willing to believe he may have a case of little brother syndrome as well. But to say that a group of guys who between the 8 of them have only 17 fights, of which they have won 10 since they joined up together, suck or are a bust is pretty ridiculous. Especially when Melvin has a long history of being subbed and letting the hype get to his head, when Rumble has missed weight like 5 times, when Bigfoot was getting blasted by Mike Kyle BEFORE the Fedor fight, and Santiago wasn't ever a top Middleweight he was just the second best one outside of Zuffa.

The group is a rag tag bunch of guys who have all had issues and take the easy way. We have Maximus and Santiago who dominate Japan but look awful sluggish and not like themselves at all in the USA which is suggestive of PED abuse, then we have Bigfoot who has failed steroid tests, then we have the ATT connection itself, and ATT is a gym long suffering from whispers of roids, partying and fucking off. A gym who has never produced a UFC champion ever. Then we have the inclusion of known slackers or head cases like AJ, Melvin and others who look worse than ever, with all their faults as bad as ever.

When the blackzillians stop being destroyed in main events maybe ill come back around. My criticism of their camp is hardly unique to me. Its all over other forums. I am surprised more here arent bashing the camp.

Also, when I watch stuff talking about the gym, something feels "off" to me. I dont think its as serious or professional as other places, and this I think IS WHAT DRAWS less than serious and professional guys there. Just my opinion.

also if I remember right both brown and bowles were based in the north gym, not the boca ratone one which has the worse reputation

Did they decline or did they meet up with better fighters not long after?

Bowles loses the belt in his first defense while in the process breaking his hand to the guy who's defended it successfully four times since then. He's looked no worse than ever with the exception of when he fought Faber, but Faber has made everyone except Cruz look silly since dropping to 135lbs.

Brown defended the title twice. I admit there should be an asterisk beside his second win over Faber as I don't believe he would have won had Faber not injured both his hands. Brown has had some bizarre performances since finding himself on the wrong end of a Jose Aldo fight. It's also worth mentioning that he's 36 years old.

Even Dana mentioned his "demons" as following the Aldo fight and the chatter from fighters was that Brown was going to lose. Supposedly, drug binges and his girl leaving him and stuff.
