Kind of what I thought. I don't think we could ever get more then 3 people to rank the flys. Maybe we can bring some attention to the weight class? lol

Next weekend two top 5 flyweights are fighting in japan. It's hard to find japanese tv streams for shooto though.

He just beat a top ten fighter and other than his Hamill fight has always fought very closely with top ten fighters. It is only because he fights champions once a year that his record is missing a lot of recent W's.

For instance, Rich Franklin is stinking up these rankings, and Tito did better against Forrest than he did. Tito won rounds, I don't think Rich won any.

This is true. The Hamill fight however is the only fight of any of Tito's where he did poorly. Even if defeat against top ten guys he proves to be competitive. I finally let go of the idea Tito is a top ten "level" guy(in that he is as good as guys in the top ten, if not ranked there technically) after Hamill, but then he goes and does something like and totally redeems himself. Tito is immediately top ten again. He just beat a top ten guy and in a big way. Slapped him silly then choked him out. I think a solid number 10 for crushing Bader is more warranted than a ranking for Franklin or Mo who are coming off losses, or Mousasi who is coming off a draw against a Jardine that Bader crushed.

Tito is like a team that loses close overtime games against three straight number 1-2 seed type playoff teams, then has a bad loss against the Browns, but then comes out and blows out a division winner. He is much better than the record indicates.

I would agree with all of that and still thought Tito had a lot more left than almost everyone but I still can't rank him top 10 after one win in 5 years. If the UFC matches him up with the winner of the Nog-Franklin fight though I think he has a great chance against either, especially Ace

Sig bet for a month if Franklin v Tito happens and I have Rich. What do you say?

Possibly, as long as nothing significant changes between then and now that would change my perception of the fighters skills IE Tito losing badly to someone else he should beat or Franklin suddenly becoming a more feared sprawl and brawler etc.

Come on guys. It really doesn't take more than 10 minutes to do this
