| Coleman's the only guy like that he fought in Pride, don't remember the fights exactly, but Coleman has a different body type.

| What? I'm not gonna be some hater and overreact to a guy losing to the best HW in the World, and read Capt. say a bunch of ugys are beating Cain.
Mousasi can't beat a decent wrestler because Mo completely controlled him.

| Mousasi may or may not lose to good wrestlers in the future, but I know he is a sponge who picks up everything he tries at a high level. No reason to believe he couldn't add wrestling to his game. Also, Mo on healthy knees maybe the best wrestler in MMA or at least even with the best.
Also that has nothing to do with Brock being garbage. LA just admit it, Brock was overrated junk.

| I'm comparing the overreaction
Brock can still beat many guys, he lost to the best HW in the World and future of the HWs for a long time.

- I don't argue any of that. But Overeem has looked like a destroyer of souls in K1. He has a dangerous submission game and is huge and strong now. I'd still like to see him exposed. I had him outside of the top ten until he destroyed Rogers. I'm kind of getting caught up in the hype here like Lesnar fans were. He is experienced and extremely well rounded though, and has been a monster in K1, so the situations arent exactly the same. Lesnar was a complete house of cards.
If anybody hates being hit more than Brock, it's Overeem. He's as flaky as it comes. His wheels come off when he gets cleanly hit, and the fact that he's been fighting shitty fighters that can't hit him is not particularly impressive. His best win is against a guy in Brett Rogers who was barely top ten, and even then, that was him being waaaaay overrated. People thought his boxing was good because he hit Fedor... newsflash... Fedor's done. He can't hang with the new breed of heavies. Cain's in town, and he's by far the best heavyweight fighter in the world. I've said this too, but with his success in K1 this just isn't the truth anymore. That said, if Overeem gets exposed I'll argue I thought he was trash all along.

| Reem doesn't like getting hit, but reacts better after years of fighting then Brock, I think Brock could win but would pick Reem probably, just better striking. | |

Oh, I get it, Cain now inherits the forum idiocy invincible assbabble. God. Pretty crazy, the dude was getting rocked vs KONGO. Now it's ridiculous to think he can lose. ------- https://ninjasplace.forumotion.net/viewtopic.forum?t=16521

Mousasi can't beat a decent wrestler because Mo completely controlled him. there is a difference between, "guys can beat cain" and "these guys will beat Cain."

| Big point now is Cain is legitimately in the discussion at 3 through 8 p4p in the world in my opinion. Resume wise he is not big yet, but there is more to it. What he does in the cage is different but still Aldo'esqu, he jacks fools up like few have ever done, that's his fighting style.
I guess I could go like this
GSP Silva Shogun Aldo Cain Fedor Edgar Cruz Machida Alvarez-Sheilds drops off, Fitch is tied with Shields. BJ... Eddie deserves some love.

| Mike Brown and Faber are both p4p level fighters and he destroyed them with ease. His weightclass isn't even interesting in light of how dominant he is. Aldo is probably the p4p best fighter in MMA. | |

| You could be right, I have him down at 4 right now. Some of what I put a guy at the top for has to do with longevity, and that is probably the deciding factor in ranking the guys 1-3 above him. But mostly skill, they are all incredibly talented.. | |

| The best American wrestlers in his class can't take him down. He submits the worlds best BJJ guys in straight BJJ competition. And he wins all his fights by devastating, explosive, scary as fuck striking. No one is more well rounded in MMA this side of Fedor Emelianenko. | |

He hasn't fought the best American wrestlers in his weightclass. What are you talking about?

| Brown and Faber are the best MMA wrestlers. Joe Warren wouldn't last 45 seconds with him. | |

Where exactly would Chad Mendes fit? How about Javy Vazquez? They're probably both better wrestlers than Brown and Faber.

| Mike Brown and Faber are both over hyped mediocre talent. Aldo is the 1st world class talent at that level. |

| Mediocre? Really? Explain that. That is a bold statement. Brown has dominated everyone apart from Aldo and Manny. Squashes quality WEC opponents in the first round routinely. Faber beat the who's who of the division for years, including current p4p fighter Dominick Cruz. | |

| Dominick Cruz is a 135 pounder. The rest were all crap. MTB was shown to be overhyped by Aldo who is world class and a UFC reject in Manny. I think all the excellent natural 145's like Frankie Edgar put on a bit of weight and fight at Lightweight because they can make much more money. |

And Frankie fought at LW cause that's where he always fought, he is a LW, infact the best in the World.

| Faber and Brown were well rounded and both did good at LW and against larger opponents. Manny was hardly a "LW reject" at his size. Cruz I doubt would have ever left 145 if not ran out by Faber. | |
