Watched Act of Valor. I enjoyed it greatly, but understand why some critics hated on it. SEALs are fucking badass.
Why does this not shock me It's probably your Braveheart
Even your non American ass will like it. It was done with actual SEALs and not actors. They did a decent job, but it was obvious they weren't actors. The action and SEAL tactics really set it off.

Hey, Josh, check out a movie called "The Pact". I just finished it and it wasn't bad.
I tried to watch this with my girl last night and I just couldn't follow it at all. I'm gonna try again tonight.

It was a little hard to follow. They didn't really explain who people were at first. Like the psychic medium girl or the exact relationship between the main character, the first person that died while using the laptop, or the one who had that little girl.

Just watched Prometheus. I really liked it. Is it the prequel to the Alien mythology or is it a new story completely?

To quote Sir Ridley it's a movie with Alien DNA, not a direct prequel but it's from that universe.

Shame - wow that was intense dreary stuff, Fassbender poured his heart and soul into that performance and it's a disgrace that the academy never even nominted him. An outstanding piece of filmaking but it's extremely dark and grimy. 4/5

Watched X-men: First Class again this morning, it's good but I still don't rate it as highly as everyone done when it was released.

I thought some of the younger kids were definitely mediocre, but Fassbender and McAvoy were both excellent. Definitely carried that movie

I agree, you can also throw in Kevin Bacon who had alot of fun playing the villain.
I despise Nicholas Hoult so anything involving him automatically gets a notch down from me.
Should be interesting to see where the sequel goes now that Magneto has gone rogue.

saw Project X this weekend.
It was OK. My friends 16 year old brother who watched it with us seemed touched by it, but it seemed like a typical party film shot with a camcorder.
