I don't think you can put it all on Williams. He certainly didn't help them not convert on the 11 straight 3rd downs they failed to convert. Same goes with Cundiff. Football games are 60 minutes.

Lee Evans deserves some blame. Cundiff has no excuse, he deserves alot of blame himself. Williams 1st fuck up should be the primary focus. It changed the game. It was about as bone headed a play possible in football. The 2nd fumble was far more forgivable. Fumbles happen in football, great defensive play. But the 1st one was 100% on him. About 3 mistakes in 1 play by the same player.

must admit...the Kyle Williams gags are funny...if you can't laugh at yourself...

I'm proud of the Niners as a unit and was overall pleased with the season. I'll take the pain of falling short in the playoffs over the comfort of being a perennial loser anyday. Atleast the Niners provided their magical moment that seems to happen everytime they make the playoffs...and that was the Saints game.

I actually feel worse for Baltimore than i feel for sorry for my own team. The guys who make Baltimore a great team are aging and that might have been their best shot at a championship winner...and they should have got it. All the best players on the Niners defense and offense are all fairly young and this is more of a growing pain for a young, new to the postseason team with a rookie coach that has room for improvement and not a window closing for an older team.

Great games yesterday and I thought the Ravens had the Pats as did I feel the 49ers had a great shot to beat the Giants. That was 4 teams playing there hearts out and sadly there had to be 2 losers. The SB should be a great 1 though.

this kid apparently was shocked that they made the field goal while i was already discussing with my friends the great year we had a few minutes before then.

I'm not worried though. This offseason we'll cut David Akers and go after some bad ass thirty something year old cornerbacks for huge money and sign Donavan McNabb as a backup. We'll be unstoppable and win it all for sure

Don't worry kings Eagles will win the east and be in the playoffs next year hopefully we meet up.

My Vikings have a better shot at making it in as a wildcard than the Eagles do at winning the East next year.
