NFL Playoffs!!!!!

Right now its the Pats -7.5 to the ravens and the 49ers -2.5 to the Giants. Pretty tough to call.

i can't see the ravens beating the pats, the ravens D perhaps isn't as good as it's reputation and i can't see flacco hanging with brady on the sccoreboard. they won't get the turnovers they got against houston either.

the giants and niners is much harder to call. i'd give the 49ers a slight advantage based on being at home but the giants are playing more like a 13-3 team now than a 9-7 team and i don't believe regular season records are a relevant guide in this game.

Yeah the Pats I feel should win but the ravens are damn near as good. It will be close. The Niners and Giants I have no clue.

The Ravens are impossible to predict, have been all year. The NFC game should be great but I still say the Niners win. They are at home and their secondary is tough enough to shutdown the Giants WR core. That being said, I wouldn't be shocked at all if the Giants win

I have the Patriots and 49ers in the superbowl. I don't see the Giants being able to work the secondary around. But I will say the Giants are embracing that same road warrior mentality again. They ran shop in Lambaeu in that second half. I don't see the Ravens having the same success they had in Houston against the Patriots. This isn't a rookie quarterback we're talking about here, this is a top 3 quarterback who's having his best year ever.

I got the Ravens in a close 1 and the Giants because I havent respected the 49ers all year I cant start picking them now.

The national media coverage of the Niners-Giants has been shameful to say the least. As expected, they are siding with the Giants and pretty much picking them...but on the other side they have already built in the excuses to make it about the Giants and not about the Niners in the event that the Niners do take care of business.

I respect the hell out of the Giants, and tommorows game will be a nerve wrecking one for me but no matter what happens tommorow, win or lose, the national downplay of the Niners has been disgusting.

Alittle overboard but it has been alot about the Giants and I havent heard much about the Niners.

The line on the game has dropped another half point Kings. Its now the Niners favored by 2. Im not sure who I will bet on so Im glad they are the late game.

Well, it was the kind of game the 49ers wanted but Kyle Williams sunk them. Not much more to it. The Niners proved they were a team that could go to the superbowl but two muffs led to 10 points, 3 in which the Giants could have kicked the FG right then and there and won the game without taking the victory lap. The Niners defense were giving the Giants nothing in the second half and our offense didnt even get a chance to put us ahead thanks to this guy. I won't curse the guys name beyond tonight but i sure as shit would not like to see him back with this team next year. It's a shame as well, Kyle Williams was alright this year but this game will ruin him in San Francisco and probably his career.

Other than that, the Niners got a good game by the guys who got them there. The defensive unit, especially in the second half. Special teams(they should not get an F becayse Williams failed). Frank Gore. Vernon Davis. Alex Smith all had acceptable game. Alex Smith's overall line didnt look all that good, but truth is he had one reciever and one tight end to work with in this game against a hot coverage unit in the Giants. Nobody was open. He missed a wide open Mr. Fuck up on a deep pass but that was pretty much the extent of his errors...Williams would have probably discovered a way to fuck that up as well. Other than that, when he had somebody open, he hit them and when nobody was open he would run for some yards or make the wise decision. Smith played better against the Giants than Matt Ryan and Aaron Rodgers did, and he outgunned Drew Brees. I say it was a good year for A.Smith.

Wish list for 2012-2013


Niners will have to add a true #1 reciever or atleast another guy level with Michael Crabtree. I like Alex Smith going forward..he had an excellent year. Put more options around him, then he'll put up better fantasy numbers which seems to be the standard for being a good QB. "You won 14 games? who gives a shit..you don't help my fantasy team, you suck". I think those guys will like Alex Smith a lot more next season assuming the front office makes the necessary moves.

A true shut down coverage corner. I like our secondary for what they are. A bruising unit that will eventually wear down recievers with hard hits and take advantage of mistakes made by the quarterback...but this team would be close to dominant with a shut down one on one cornerback. Our front 7 is easily the best in the NFL. Nobody fucks with our defensive line and linebackers...but our secondary is full of ball hawks and bruisers that are exceptional but bend too much and give up too many yards through the air which may not lead to a lot of points but too much ball control.

That's about it. I think our young offensive line turned out pretty good this year and will improve next year. No need for major help there. The needs are obvious yet very few. Niners will be back next season, and will be even better.

Congrats to the Giants. I hope they win the superbowl.

John Harbaugh got let down big time as well. Lee Evans choked big time. Thats the play that lost it, not a muffed kick from a rookie that was one of the very last picks in the draft. I feel sorry for them.

Atleast the Giants could have still won tonights game even without Kyle Williams being their best player. Patriots should have flat out lost today.
