Cowboy vs Diaz should be the main event, hear me out

I don't know about you but if Reem vs Lesnar goes over 3 rounds I'd be damn curious to see what happens. Both tend to crumble if hit so I think someone is going the fuck down in this fight but if not, you wouldn't want to see these guys in championship rounds? It almost has a freakshow element to it.

I think OU means Diaz v Cowboy is more likely to get FOTN.

I second this. Brock vs Reem is a fight between two fighters who are better at one thing and the same in other ways. They have the hype behind them and we all want to see them fight bad! At the same time any fight fan knows cowboy vs Nate has a chance to be a great fight. Nate is better than ever and so is Cowboy. I could only hope that this was a 5 round fight just in case. Both guys would still be fighting in the late 4th round. Reem and Brock in the late 4th round would look like two fat pigs fighting over food on a hot day. I've never seen that happen, but I'm just saying. Farmer could tell ya more about that. He's from Texas!

honestly these 2 fights remind me of rua/hendo and chandler/alvarez. Now some are saying if lesnar/reem goes the distance it may end up being a crap fight but wasnt that what rua/hendo was the 4rth and 5th rd yet people loved that fight. Those 2 rds we saw the same hendo from the shields fight and the same one at the end of the franklin fight. Guy had nothing left and was just getting dominated. Just kept getting tagged and tried to stay in the fight from how out of it he was. If one is saying overeem/lesnar goin 4 or 5 rds is gonna look like the rua/hendo fight did in those rds then i agree.on the other hand u had alvarez and chandler go none stop for 4 rds wer each one had the other in trouble at several times throughout the whole fight. Now back to reality, overeem/lesnar will not go 5rds. Although i would like to see cowboy toss nate around for 5 rds im oke wit it just 3. Rember too one of the reasons why people pick hendo/rua over chandler/alvarez was cus of the calibur of the fight. U dont get any higher than having two top 5hws headlinin an event and for that it is the main event

I didnt read this thread yet but this is an awesome fight, I got cerrone but if nate fought smart I can see him getting the win and possible submission

I don't think there is any question who the two more competent mixed martial artists are. I also don't think that matters. The two best guys on a card have stunk it up more than once while one dimensional boppers have lit it up. Neither fight is going 5 rounds, or 3.

hendo and rua wasnt a crap fight, hendo just looked like crap the 4th n 5th rd not doin anything cus of how gassed he was. If people think a 5 rd fight between lesnar/overeem that goes the distance will be crap ,well its gonna look the same as the last 2 rds like rua/hendo with one fighter trying to survive and the other being gassd. So if one thinks overeem/lesnar 5 rd decision will look like crap, then they must think rua/hendos last 2 rds wer crap too.

this is all irrelevant anyways, neither fight gets passed the 3rd
