He should be playing like this more often than he does. He far to inconsistant at times.

| Yeah he was huge last night. I might be a fool to throw this out there but with the way the Lakers played last night are they a better TEAM without Kobe? I heard they took 89 shots and Gasol and Bynum had like 45. They stayed in the paint and beat a playoff team down on there home floor. Im not saying 1 way or the other but it at least made me think. | |

i think we all know the answer to that question. stuff like that shouldn't even be brought up. i think the rest only helps kobe to be honest, he'll come out fresh for the play offs

Obviously, but a focus on the LA bigs would probably get them further in the playoffs. If you want rings, you need bigs. Mavs - not an elite big but went from good to championship good with Tyson Chandler. Dirk doesn't count as a big in my book. Lakers (2x) - go from good to championship good with Gasol and Bynum (coming into his own) Celts - Garnett (versatile, but still a big) Spurs - Timmy D Heat - Shaq Spurs - Timmy D Pistons - Ultimate team championship (no stars, ultra rare) solid bigs with the Wallaces. Spurs - Timmy D Lakers (3x) - Shaq Spurs - Timmy D and old man Robinson Bulls (3x) - exception with the GOAT Rockets (2x) - HAKEEM THE DREAM OLAJUWON Bulls (3x) - exception with the GOAT Pistons(2x) - semi exception, Laimbeer (good not quite elite though) Lakers (2x) - Jabbar Celts - McHale & Parish Lakers - Jabbar Celts - McHale & Parish So in the past 28 years, 18 championship teams had elite bigs, 4 had very good bigs (not elite), & 6 had the greatest player of all time.

| http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/7832334/report-orlando-magic-dwight-howard-says-play-stan-van-gundyMagic center Dwight Howard has called team owner Rich DeVos to tell him that he won't play for coach Stan Van Gundy anymore, WKMG in Orlando is reporting. Howard missed his sixth straight game with a back injury Wednesday against the Celtics, and Van Gundy has already said that he is preparing for his big man to miss the rest of the season and the playoffs. Howard is still upset that Van Gundy publicly said this month that Howard asked management to have him fired, sources told WKMG. According to the report, the 86-year-old DeVos took Howard's call in his suite at the Amway Center sometime during Friday's game against the Hawks. | |

| I wish the playoffs would hurry up and start because even this shorten season feels like it is dragging on forever. | |
