1. It's Parker or Westbrook
2. He's easily the 2nd best C in the league
3. His first season in Boston he played PF but was then moved to C where he excelled. At Minny and Utah he played C full time.

Even in the loss I like how Thunder matchup vs Heat. The Heat wanted that win bad, still barely squeaked it out.

But back to reality in the West. SA is scary,scary, scary. Fuck what happened to them last year in the playoffs. Lakers are a legit threat in the West. Memphis is still scary for ANY team in the playoffs. But Dallas doesn't have it this year, I don't see them being a serious threat.

If the Spurs pass the Thunder(only 1 game back), Parker will get 1st team.
Bynum is sooooo far above any C not named Dwight Howard it's not even funny. The race for 3rd team All NBA is just LOL.
Al Jefferson may have been a PF/C in the past. But he is the a starting C these days. Started every game this season at center.

How crazy would it be if the Mavs miss the playoffs after coming off a championship.

They lost some very key guys, they are an old team that just crossed out the final objective off their bucket list, and it's a shortened season. Pretty much one huge slump can bury a team in a shortened season...especially in the west. I figured they would kind of fall into middle of the pack territory in the west, but middle of the pack in the west runs about 6 teams deep and not all of them make the playoffs because 5-9 are all pretty close. I think they'll make it.

Tyson Chandler isn't worth 20 wins.

Maybe not, but losing 16 games off the schedule, along with Chandler and Barea might be worth 20 wins. At their pace, they would probably win in the mid 40's if the season was full. Not a huge drop off but it does not take a huge drop off to put you from the top to the bottom off the very competitive west playoff picture. Those guys were pretty important, especially Chandler. He helped put them over the top last season and pretty much everybody called Dallas not being as good without him.

Also, they wouldn't be as hungry this year.

This is the biggest deal. Dirk is nowhere near as good as last year.

Just about every team in the West is better this year(then last year) so that doesn't help. Dallas lost some key role players and they just got hot at the right time last year.
