| No wishing, Barao is the better fighter to me. But for the 135 landscape, he definitely needs to win. I would have rather seen Fitch-GSP again than ever watch Jorgensen get another shot at Cruz | |

Well Barao is no joke but Scotty is legit top 5 in the World. Eventually if he earns a rematch he earns a rematch. Like I have said many times before the assumed outcome of a rematch is irrelevant. If you earn #1 contender status then you earn #1 contender status. | |

| I'm going to go ahead and say it, Scotty flat out choked vs Cruz. He did not show up to fight. I'm not saying he could have won but he wasn't himself that fight. Cruz gets some credit for that but I'm fully convinced that Scotty was beat before they ever touched em up. Not all fighters feel the need to express whatever injury or setback occurred leading up to the fight. But IMO something was up. | |
