| 1)it needs to be immediate. Not sure if they already said there will be one, but they should have. immediate.
2)I'm again picking Machida. I think he has the more to learn from that fight, and I wonder if with all the hoopla after winning the belt if he was not totally focused on the fight.
3)not sure what the #'s were on sat but I have to believe the rematch would do significantly better. It looks like a legit superfight.

| In the post fight presser Dana said the fight would be "immediate". In fight talk that means 4-6 months and they don't face another opponent first. It's a pipe dream to think we see a rematch before late winter-early spring! | |

yeah all I meant by immediate was that they fight each other next. The time frame is not overly important.

| Yeah, I was going to say it sounds like he may have broken his hand. SHogun lowered his head everytime Machida threw that straight so I wouldn't be surprised, plus Machida pulled back a couple of times from throwing punches at openings so I wondered that throughout the fight.
I'll pick Machida in the rematch as well. I didn't think the decision was obvious as everyone claimed, I just felt like everyone was stunned that Shogun was able to connect on Machida and the final round was so dominant. He has the perfect training partner to prepare for Shogun in Anderson Silva [see Anderson vs. Lee Murray] -- mark it down.

| the only reason why that fight was even close was that machida couldnt find shogun's rhythm all night long, and couldnt put together any type of offense. going into the fifth round you can still hear machida's trainers saying "find his rhythm". | |

| Shogun is gonna need more than a few countered leg kicks to win next time children. | |

Certainly true, because he did way more than that the first time, and that still didn't help.

| You should probably watch the fight again. You'll see that Machida didn't counter all that many kicks. And if you look carefully enough, you'll see that a lot of his punches were either blocked or missed altogether. He was significantly less accurate than Shogun for that reason. | |

| I think the rematch wont last 5 rounds. Machida is going to attack more so that will leave more openings. I don't know who will win but there will be a KO. |
