Leben tests positive for painkillers; suspended one year

yeah just do what extreme couture does get a doctor to say you have low test and get treatment(HRT).

I dont know but wondering if painkillers in system mask some PEDs? I will look into that otherwise why take PK before a fight

pain killers give me energy and I feel like I am in great shape when I have taken them in the past. Then you feel like shit when you come down. I can see how it could help him in a fight. Leben might have a problem though and he needs help if that is the case. 1 year is kinda harsh imo even if it is his 2nd offense.

i've taken pain killers on a few occasions and honestly i didn't feel anything... i don't get what the big deal is with them, or how u can become addicted to them

I'm the same way, but to some people it is extremely addicting.

Yeah some people struggle with it big time. I don't know if you remember Bigs talking about his struggles with it following surgery.

I get the feeling Leben wasn't using painkillers for the fight itself but more for recovery between fights and he sort of just got caught up in it. Most likely he's addicted and abusing them. I feel for the guy though, that's a tough road to travel. Hopefully he gets through it and comes back stronger than before.
