Dude, Bones totally had a spy in Rashads camp. He knew Rashad thought he would turn down the fight, he knew Rashads hands was too hurt already so he said yes cause he knew he wouldn't really be facing Rashad. And I'm totally fucking with you I don't really think that lol

Yeah it would be a pretty damn impressive year for Bones. Wins over 3 former Champions and arguably 3 wins over top 5 ranked opponents. Best year in recent memory if he pulls it off.

You mean reach? Machida can do nothing about that. It comes down to who has the speed and timing advantage on fight night. The reach makes it easier for Bones to have that advantage.

Reach always give someone speed if they get it down with timing. Boxing 101.

That did sound halfway scientific, and to a degree is almost makes sense. With a reach advantage you get a "cushion" for the speed gap. because unless someone is already inside they have to come inside to reach you, which somewhat telegraphs what's coming. It doesn't let you know what exactly is about to happen but you have a good idea that something is about to happen and you can either move out of the way or try to block/counter.

I kinda look at it like this, with Bones fighting Machida and I'm not really sure if I believe that Shad and Bones will ever fight, there will always be something stopping that, I do think that Rashad thought he would be ready and did not factor in that he would have rehab his hand for that long, I'm sure it kills him that Bones can talk and Rashad has nothing to say back.

I don't think Bones will be able to keep Machida away like he did Rampage with the reach, Machida has many more tools then Rampage, tough champ though 4 fights in one year, maybe match Rashad up with Davis while Bones take a much needed rest after the fight if he wins, Machida win sets up a rematch with Shad around June or so, I do think that Bones wins and Hendo wins that is the fight they make.
