Have you attended a game your team lost?

I have been lucky that all the recent games I have been to my team has won. I went to the 1 World Series game the Rangers actually won last season. All the OU games I have attended in the last 5 years or so they have won. The Thunder beat the Lakers and Nuggets on the only 2 playoff games I have went to. Also oddly enough they have won every regular season game I have attended, but I've only seen about 5. LeBron's 1st ever game winner vs Hornets is the last NBA game I went to where my team lost. Dallas Cowboys have won the only 2 games I saw them play.

However, I remember when I was younger and the Sooners were very down. One game that sticks out is vs Kansas St where OU got beat by 4 TDs and it was raining for most of the game. I remember seeing them loses a couple times when I was younger, but this one really sticks out.
Thankfully OU has won all 3 OU-Texas games I have gone to.

Went to a Devils Bruins first rnd playoff game back in 95. Devils tied it with seconds left in regulation, only to see the bruins score early in OT to win the game. This put the Dev's in an 0-2 hole in the series.

Painful at the time, but Dev's would come back to win the series 4-2, and eventually their first Stanley cup.


I saw the G-men lose to the packers way back in the day.

I think I've seen Rutgers lose once, though I forget the game, I think RU is 5-1 in games I have gone to.

Seen the Nets and Devils lose plenty of times in regular season play Saw the Mets lose an awful game to the Marlins this year, error in the ninth blowing a 2 run lead. That was loads of fun.

I went to the 2003 Orange Bowl where runner up Brad Banks and my Hawkeyes played Heisman winner Carson Palmer's USC ShitDicks.
We won the coin toss and received, CJ Jones took the opening kickoff to the house and I've never seen a stadium shake like Pro Player did that night.
Palmer then threw a 63 yd bomb, TD 2 plays later, downhill from there. It was a rough one...

5 years ago Ohioi St played at Iowa and GameDay was there because we were both undefeated. My mom was diagnosed with Leukemia a month before the game so my step-brother and I got the tickets. Since the story is in this thread, you know the rest....

I have never been to a Tiger game where they loss, ever! I have been to like 15 and never been to a loss. Pistons have lost a bunch of times as have the Lions.

When I lived in minnesota I saw the vikings win in overtime vs the saints back when Chris Carter and Reed were catching balls from Warren Moon. Robert Smith was the tailback I believe. It was great. Reed caught the game winning TD from Moon in sudden death.

I had a very scary moment when I was younger at an OU game. OU almost lost to Baylor! Never in the history of the World has Baylor beat OU. But thankfully an INT in the endzone in OT put a stop to that.

you got me here now days. We will be back in football though. It was only 5 years ago when we were a top program in football and then we got some shitty coach from.....TULSA, OKLAHOMA named Kragthorpe who royally screwed ourt program and set us back big time. Pre-Kragthorpe era my CARDS were doing good things in football. 05 and 06 we finished in the top 10 and I still say if we didn't lose to Rutgers in 2006 we woulda played the fuckeyes instead of Florida, and we woulda won that game. Florida deserved to play them though since we lost one game and they were the best team that year at the end of the day. I love how OSU fans say they woulda won against us though. Not a chance after what Florida did to them in that game, not a chance!

I always wondered how the hell your school fucked up a great coach like Kragthorp?
