Team Shad vs Team page.......

we just saw the blue print of every fight from here on out. A relatively small team page fighter taking down and a much larger team pager and then gnp the fuck out of him. The NFL dudes are toast.

Page's embarassement is keeping him out of the december fight.

I certainly wasn't impresses by either fighter, the guy who lost has no ground game, and is dumb, the guy who won did his job nicely, but I can't see him being an impact fighter in the HW division

im with LA on this one...

kinda hard to watch a TUF fight after that fight night.

man i only saw the last 2 fights of the fight night. Gonna go check out the others on mma linker.

and yea seriously unimpressed by those 2 scrubs.

Anyone else tempering their expectations about this seasons HW potential? Yeah there's Roy but I thought we'd get 7-8 pretty solid guys out of this.

The Quarry fight was excellent.

dont forget condit vs ellenberger was great too!

I'd put it in the very good category, certainly better technically(ellenberger is a player), but pure excitement was all Quarry.

Ellenberger has a place in the UFC for sure.

guy is very talented for sure.. seemed to gas a little but thats expected in such an up-tempo fight

Yah I thought if he sustained the aggression when Condit was turtling it was over - actually I thought it was over and then Condit did a damn good job recovering and avoiding big bombs

As for Page vs Shad - I will be surprised if Page's team wins more than 1 fight. Page seems to only care if his guys can throw a power punch and if they were homeless at one point.

Rampage is not a good judge of talent, nor can he gameplan well.

You gotta give Condit a lot of credit for realizing he couldn't stay in the fetal position or the fight would be stopped. He said in the post fight interview that he knew he had to get moving or the fight would be stopped. A lot of guys just sit there and get pounded on so it was nice to see someone push through. Ellenberger was throwing bombs and Condit took a lot of them. He did a great job persevering and overwhelming Ellenberger when he was tired.

Really good fight. But yeah, the Quarry/Credeur fight was awesome. Credeur impresses me every time I see him.
