| Anderson is the best of all time. Beating page on the tail end if his career doesn't change that. | |

| If Jon Jones beats Rashad Evans then his resume would already be better than Anderson Silva's. |

No doubt spider still has the all time credentials lead, but if these guys were to fight today, it's still a MW vs a LHW. And Bones is not Forrest.

If they prepared to fight in a year and both are healthy I think Bones beats up Anderson Silva. I think it could get pretty ugly too. Silva always has his speed and power. He would be a better fight right now for Jones over any other guy walking around at 220lbs. It's rediculous that we won't see them fight for two years, if ever, because they probably walk around at pretty much the same weight. It is the best fight in the MMA world right now imo. I can't think of a fight I would rather see

See I'm fine with that way of thinking but if he stands with Anderson he will wake up stairing at the lights.

I'm completely of the opinion that Spider is the best striker in MMA. But Bones is a big lhw, with tons of reach, good hand speed, uses his kicks, and could get Spider off balance by wrestling early. I don't see the striking portion of this match up as dominated by Spider.

| Bones is a solid striker and his length gives him natural defense, but he still leaves his hands down to much and can get a little sloppy even if it works. We think someone can stand with Anderson then he up kicks Vitor in the face...meaningwhile Vitor's been wrecking everyone else he meets and trys banging with him. I'm sure Bones would lands some leg kicks, a couple jabs, but Anderson would figure out his timing and you just never know when a Sagat style jabs is gonna land. I see Bones trying to get Anderson down if anything, Anderson is slick enough off his back to both threaten and fend off subs, but I could see Bones getting sidemount or some shit and doing some damage. IBut really it's just hard to bet against Anderson eventually landing something against anyone. | |

| I do give the edge to Bones, his freakish reach and solid striking would cause Silva trouble. But then again how is Bones going to deal with Silva's speed, accuracy and submissions ?
Hard to see Silva being wrecked, even when Sonnen was dominating him he was still able to do alot of damage off his back. |

| If Sonnen was able to keep Anderson down for 5 rounds then Jones could do it even easier. Sonnen is very weak when it comes to sub defense. We have never seen Jones in any trouble on the ground. If the fight stayed standing then yes Anderson would have the advantage but Jones trained by Greg Jackson would not keep that fight standing. |

| Jon Jones if he beats Rashad Evans=
Rashad Evans Maurício Rua Quinton Jackson
Anderson Silva=
Dan Henderson Vitor Belfort Chael Sonnen
Jones' top 3 victories would be much more impressive than Anderson's especially since Sonnen dominated Anderson. |

Bones wrestling didn't look that outstanding against Page, he was able to stuff his shots. |

Also at that time Hendo was going through a rough patch. |

We've never seen Jones on the ground with any legitimate BJJ players. That division doesn't even really have any that come to mind immediately. Sonnen also has some of the best top control in all of MMA, so I'm not sure what that first statement is really supposed to mean

| Jones is way bigger than Sonnen and is a great wrestler so if he took Anderson down then Anderson wont be escaping. |

He's not world class or anything, but neither is Anderson Silva.

That's all he tries to do and Jones totally shut it down and knew exactly what was coming. Anderson is definitely a greater threat to sub off of his back
