That is not my point though i'm sure far less than 95 percent of the world is holding back their urges to torure and murder dogs in emphatic fasion in fear of getting caught up by the fuzz.

My point is, he likely still does not understand why dogs are valued so much in our culture, and the only way he views what he did as wrong...was because he got in trouble for it. Thus, he's still a horrible human being and would likely do it all over again if he could get away with it. That means the monster capable of such acts is still there, he's just afraid as he should be.

lets not pretend because Michael Vick served some time that he's not a bad person anymore. What's done is done. He gets his second chance to live in society, but just like any convict..he'll live in society in the bed that he made. I don't care if he was the best QB in football(LOL)..i would never want this scum on my team. I'll take 100 years of JT O Sullivans and Trent Dilfers before i ever root for a team with this animal leading the way.

Not to mention those dogs stayed abused, they stayed scarred, they stayed dead. Who did he really pay his debt to? Society? Society is pissed that if they did what Vick did they would have got sent to real pound you in the ass prison for a lot longer than a cup of coffee.

I disagree Kings. I think Vick got into more trouble then what any of us would have. He only did a year in jail, but he lost millions of dollars too. I think he should've done more time if he did kill some of those dogs, but it wasn't proven that he did that. It was his property so he was the main guy they were gonna come after. You had other people close to him that lived there full time that probably did far more then what Vick did. They should've gotten in the most trouble. They were saving their asses so they went with the prosecution and rolled on Vick. It's some guys saying another guy did it all. If Vick had been video taped shooting and fighting dogs then he should've gotten more time, but that wasn't the case. The government made an example out of him. Dogs don't deserve to be treated that way, but at the same time I don't think it is right to ruin a mans life and make him lose millions of dollars either when it wasn't proven that he was killing and mistreating them. He just owned the property. If I am wrong then so be it, but I think the prosecution had Vick because he owned the property and nothing more.
