- Yea, this card crushes Strikeforce!
Maybe in views, wouldn't be surprised. Probably in attendance too. Bellator never do great gates even at Applebees and their numbers are lower than Strikeforce's with many less eyes on the channel. Bellator is third behind a cancer patient. LOL you're a Bellator hater now? How pissed will you be when they are on SPIKE? Which is clearly just a matter of time at this point. Take your L like a man.
Hector Lombard has the best highlight package in MMA. Alvarez has been a favorite for years. But Bellator does less ratings that SF with more eyes on free TV, has 1/3 the talent and has issues selling out resturants. Not haterism. Just the way it is. No coming into a thread about Bellator and declaring it weaker then SF is the definition of hating. It is weaker than SF. Truth telling isn't hating. it WAS weaker than SF, not so much anymore to be honest... SF got ripped apart and Bellator is starting to make some moves. SF has lost like four fighters, still would take all bellator season to see as much talent as the single SF card the other day.

| But those 4(and it's more like 10) were the cream of the SF crop. Even with their next grouping of high end fighters, nobody watched. Dana didn't. Their own fighters are calling it a dead org.
They don't have another major card for almost 3 months.
That ship is sinking fast.

| Jared Hess was only fighting off submission after submission.
The fact that he was probably winning on the scorecards shows that there is something wrong with the system, but of course we already knew that.
All Hess did was take him down and go on the defensive. If you are constantly on the defensive and you arent passing the guard, you are not winning and obviously taking him down never put Hess in a truly advantagous position so i question how much love he should have got for the takedowns.
Shlemenko was going to finish the fight anyway, but the injury was simply preventing a horrible decision,

| And Im hoping to watch this.
Going to my buddies to watch the Boxing.
Should be able to get the TV tuned in.
Though I can't say Im super pysched for this card. Maybe some of the unknowns have some talent, but this tourney is for the most part, guys I'm not familiar with, or guys Im not overly excited to see(save Shemenko, love that guy).

| Dana and no one else watches Bellator either bro. Bellator's ratings on free TV are less than SF's on Showtime. Condit, Stann, Bendo, Pettis and Sonnen were champions or in title fights when the WEC division were closed and they're all still contenders and in the mix this moment. The Zuffa prospecting team is the best in the business. SF will always have the better fighters. | |

I'd have to rewatch it again, but I thought Hess was winning. Not dominating, but winning. Hess got a lot of takedowns...thats probably why you thought he was winning and thats why i was pretty sure the judges had him winning as well. He took down Shlemenko countless times in the fight. However, he was getting socked up in the standup and every time he took Shlemenko down he landed right in the guard, landed no punches, made no attempt to pass, and just fought off submissions. Pretty much just sat there and assumed because he was getting takedowns and was on top, he would be fine....not that i can blame him, with the uneducated judges thats a damn fine assumption to make because he probably won most of his fights that way.

| Hess vs Baker and Alvey vs Vianna should be great fights.
Favor Shlemenko and Rogers huge though.
