This is all shit that has been rumored or reported already. Also SF still has the women stars they'll retain. They've got fan favorite journeymen like Dead O Mean etc.

But the networks when they bring these orgs on see room for growth, potential for bigger things to come. U don't get that with a feeder org.



And without the UFC nameplate, I don't think the affiliation does a whole lot for viewership.

Yes, for the time being they still have enough to stay in business. But the reason it's all just rumors at this point is the fate of SF has yet to be determined.

And if SF lands on ESPN deportes I consider my argument validated.

SF is gonna stay around forever, it's just gonna be renamed UFC, have their belts go away ala WEC, put on channels the UFC is already on, produced to be identical to what the UFC is producing, and it's fighters are going to fight against UFC fighters..

there isn't enough ufc events to support all the SF fighters. Networks would probably rather do business with Zuffa anyway even if it's a second fiddle league. "stars" dont make MMA. Yall will see.

Even if SF is kept around that wouldn't make you correct in my book. You are claiming to already know about a decision that has yet to be made. You didn't give us your opinion you stated it as fact and anyone that believes otherwise is being illogical.

A stable product, with something unique(WMMA), with UFC on Fox advertising muscle, with connections to the big leagues and access to UFC fighters....

An upstart with less fighters, less name value, less desirable people promoting it, financial concerns, the ire of the big leagues, and Cole Konrad.

No one is looking at other possibilities. The idea the UFC will close SF was an opinion formed based on a popular meme and evidence is being made to fit that idea. When you look at the evidence, it makes no sense from a business perspective.

No one is looking at other possibilities? Now some here aren't, you are correct. They are on the other side of the fence and think SF is dead org walking. I haven't gone that far. I acknowledge both as legit possibilities and am extremely hopeful that SF will remain alive and as healthy as possible. At one point I was not very optimistic about the future of SF but lately we have been given a few positive signs that this thing might just live.

The writing written on this wall says SF is on it's death bed.

The four biggest draw are out of SF in the past three months, three of them being the freaking belt holders.

The Showtime deal is winding down, coupled with a huge new deal with a network channel and two cable channel by the owning company. There is no FOX advertising unless it is for UFC on a FOX channel.

Having a stable that goes from 260 fighters to 310 fighters could equate to about 5 or 6 additional full events a year for a company that has stated they would strive to have an event a week one day. If there is not enough events, what more simple solution is there than to have more events?

UFC's growth helps SF grow much less than it helps SF grow if SF is renamed UFC and is absorbed.

SF won't grow as it has in the past for, as previously mentioned, it hasalready retracted in the worst kind of way, at the top.

Zuffa is gonna make more money with SF gone completely and their best assets used to generate UFC branded revenue.

The tailings being released into the wild is a minute tradeoff for the obvious course of action coming in the near future.

Trimming the bottom will be of minor significance to Bellator, Dream, ProElite, M-1 etc.,.

The mainstream is UFC.

Those brands are going to move and get in where they fit in on the HDNets and MTVs and Spikes until one fits so well that it is absorbed into the UFC. Networks will work with whatever they think can get them a piece of the pie, Zuffa doesn't have to serve shit to anyone though and now that they are a patron of FOX, will likely dedicate their menu to their three available outlets.

Send SF out right?

Pick up the dudes who of course belong, with the rest, make two or three, fight for the chance shows. See how bad these fighters wanna be a fucking fighter. Would make for awesome fights and shut down the great SF with what matters most, action packed fights.
