| The obvious rumor is Nate. I'm hoping they see how good Douglas Lima really is lol, but I doubt that. If not Nate, then who? | |

I thought you were talking about Diaz lol. Yeah I thought so lol, I'm not delusional. I'm thinking it will either be Nate(Marquardt) or Kos.

| Can't be Nate can it? Not know that SF is owned by Zuffa, and Zuffa suspects he's a cheater. Now I know Barnett is thought of as a cheater by Zuffa(and alot of others) and he's still gonna compete in the HW tourney atleast to my current knowledge but Zuffa didn't just fire Barnett either | |

Sure it can. Daley won't be back in the UFC anytime soon either. They are, atleast for now, letting SF run separately for the most part.

That did come to mind. But he is fresh blood still in the UFC and can atleast fight some of the bigger names over there. Even move up to MW and challenge some people. I was thinking Kos because he is still a ways from getting a title shot now and is 0-2 vs GSP. Even if GSP did jump to MW, Kos still won't fight Fitch so he isn't touching the UFC title...ever.

| This is why SF will stay. It allows the UFC to ;
1. Sign guys who would otherwise go to competitors, who will instead simply go to the other brand. The Non-Zuffa mma niche now becomes the Non-UFC MMA niche, allowing Zuffa to control the rest of the sport.
2. Be more liberal in how they discipline fighters as a real consequence is now available.

| Bringing back Hieron away from Bellator maybe. Bellator also has Lima signed apparently. Arsken? I could see them making a grab at someone from Bellator, wouldn't be surprising at all.
Siyar Bahadurzada would be an interesting signing, but he would probably need to win one fight in SF first. I hope it is Siyar myself, I would like to see more from this dude, he has been the fire in Europe lately.
I don't think Zavurov would be considered for a title shot anytime soon if they brought him in from M-1. Same goes for Nakamura. They are at least 3 wins away in SF from that conversation.
Jordan Mein is interesting in that he just beat Zaromskis and is on a 5 fight win streak that has also seen him defeat Josh Burkman and Joe Riggs, but I wouldn't give him the shot either with out a few more wins.

| Fitch is under contract. There would be no reason to be all shhhh hush hush if it was someone besides Nate. | |

Also he doesn't really fit the description. He is mentioned as the only really top 20 WW that is a free agent but he really doesn't fit Coker's quote of having experience and title ready.

| Now we have reports of Nate being offered a contract from Bellator and Kos is obviously still in the UFC with his latest comments. So who could this be? | |
