Do you prefer Dominant Title reigns or Revolving Door Title reigns?

Do you find it more exciting when it's like the LHW division where no one can hold onto the title or the MW division where 1 guy is basically unbeatable and reigns for years?

Depends on who has the belt I guess. I would prefer a happy median.

I like dominant title reigns. They are pretty hard to do right, but when a guy is able to thrash high level opponent after high level opponent, that's the best.

I guess it depends on the level of competition. Fedor made it exciting because he looked beatable but would always pull out the victory. Anderson Silva not so much because his level of competition isn't that good. Whoever beats a dominant champ though instantly becomes a star.

In smaller promotions like Bellator a dominant champion is very important as you build your company around them.

I like epic title fights where the better fighter wins and whatever happens happens.

actually the level anderson faced is comparable to the level fedor faced. fedors biggest wins in pride over legit top guys were over cro cop and nog. after pride it has only really been timmy.

as for anderson it has been over franklin , hendo , forrest and from the looks of it sonnen (depending on his the outcome of his hearin).

in the end i liked watchin anderson at the beginin cus many didnt know just how dominant he would be come but now it seems as if there really is no one out there for him and fore that i would take fedors title reign.fedor fights really showed the true heart of a champion kinda the way hughes would have him combacks during his prime. if anything watching andersons comeback in his last fight actually made him interesting again after his maia preformance.

Well your really asking two questions here Freak.

In your title it asks what we prefer and on the first post you ask what is more exciting. Which in your defense would mean the same thing to some people but not me. I'd perfer a dominant champ but it's more exciting for a revolving door.

I perfer a dominant champ because I think it's better for the sport, but it's more exciting when you don't think the challenger is gonna lose for sure.

Easy. Just like in every sport. If you are my guy/team I want you to dominate. I like Liddell, Hughes, Dallas Cowboys, ect. Those runs were awesome.
But on the opposite side I have hate for Spider, Patriots, USC, Jimmy Johnson(driver) and others simply for winning too much. I'm ready for GSP to lose because he isn't my guy, however I don't hate him.

thats another reason why i said i would pick fedors title reign over andersons.

in between. 3-4 defenses is good for me. Have to admit as much as I like them I am tired of gsp and anderson with the belt. It would be nice to see them climb back up the latter and get it back.

I like to see guys I'm a fan of have a successful reign almost as much as I like to see exciting fights. It all depends on the type of fight. A reign or revolving door both suck if the fights are not entertaining.

I guess i prefer the parity, though i dominant reign is good too.

LHW is my favorite division and that belt has been a hot potato since Chuck, but i also love what Anderson and GSP are doing..
