| Why do we say 8 of 10 times? This idea that Tito is an awful striker when he stood just fine with Rashad and Forrest(twice), two recent LHW champions very near to their title runs is insulting to real watchers of MMA. Tito had more fights than Chuck Liddell you know.
If you think Tito is a bad striker, you only think that way because you ;
A. Dislike Tito.
and
B. Use the Liddell fight as the anchor of your opinion.
and
C. Haven't seen much of his full career
and
D. Cannot evaluate talent objectively
While Tito is not a Joe Rogan Brand World Class striker, in his day was a very well rounded fighter(Joe Rogan used to talk about him as a next gen fighter with good striking and ground game in his fights, if you remember), and even by today's standards he is a good striker. Ask Ryan Bader. Any idea otherwise is incredibly stupid and short sighted. The only person who is allowed to get away with this is Bird. The rest of you, check this ignorant noise at the door.

| Tito is at worst between 3-5 all time in the lhw division but a case for second can be made. | |

| wolf im not saying tito is a bad striker or doesnt have good boxing. the reason i say bader would beat him 8 of 10 is because of the point they are in their careers. bader was the fav for a reason. no doubt in my mind tito was one of the best and in his prime was a far better fighter than bader currently is but still, time,injuries and age have caught up to him. the way i originally saw the fight goin down was bader overpowering tito and preasuring him. tito would of outlanded him but bader would of gotten the harder shots.in the end by round 3 i would of expected tito to gass and bader have a dominant round and possibly taken tito down several times. for that i say bader would win 8 out of 10 times by dec at this point in their careers. make no mistake, prime tito beats bader no doubt in my mind. | |

| Bader's cardio has never looked great late either. I think it is becoming clear we jumped the gun on Bader as a fighter after the Vinny and Jardine KO's. | |

| I never did. I always thought Bader was overrated. |

| I still think Badar is legit. He needs to remember his base though. His striking is no bad, but his power makes him fall in love with it. Happens all too often after a big KO or 2. | |

| Sort of like Rashad, then Machida happened and he went back to the wrestling. |

Good point. Happened even to Fedor. See him chasing the KO against Bigfoot instead of boxing first like he used to? His right(and left) had been so reliable in Strikeforce and Affliction before that that he lost touch.
