Erm JDS is much bigger than Cain, and he showed solid takedown defense against Nelson. |

| Weight and wrestling skill is more important than height. |

| Well since I have a family member who has had diverticulitis and had multiple relapses, I can't say I am shocked. It sucks though, I was looking forward to this fight. | |

| No one has said that diverticulitis is the excuse for not being in this fight. It is a reason for not competing and a justifiable one. Anyone implying that he is using it as an excuse is stupid. Anyone implying that those people who thought this fight would not happen are claiming diverticulitis is being used as an excuse are equally stupid. | |

| This is bullshit. My second bout I went to the doc and got some Dioxycycline and was fine two days later. I have two pockets in my intestines and that is as bad as it gets,,,, unless you have actual holes in the walls of ur intestines. There is no way Brock has holes either. He has pockets formed like I do and you just have to eat right and everything is fine. Even if he ate a seed and it got stuck he would just need antibiotics to clear up any infection. If he had holes in the walls then they would have done surgery the last time.
Brock doesn't have to pull out of this fight and he knows it. He could have the surgery after the fight. He isn't a champion or he would fight thru this because it isn't as bad as he makes it seem. It only hurts if you let it go too long without antibiotics like he and I did the first time we got sick with it. I am no fan of Brock Lesnar anymore!

Questions that come to my mind. When did he know about this? Did they wait until the last moment to tell us just to help TUF? Was Brock going to fight JDS or was this already known and he was just helping out the UFC with TUF? I don't think it is an excuse and Brock is lying. Just not so sure they knew Brock wasn't going to be able to compete.

Call me stoopid then. I don't think this is a reason to call off the fight. You either have Diverticulitus or diverticulosis (which is worse). If he didn't eat right and he got an infection then he would just need the antibiotics and be all good within a week. Been there, done that and I don't see why he is pulling out of the fight. If it was that bad and holes had formed then he would be having the surgery and not thinking about it. Something isn't right imho.

| But what I mean is, if he has this again like he did before, that is a good reason not to fight and treat it. Like there are no excuses needed when there is reason. Could be details beyond the scope of knowledge available, I don't know them. | |

I agree that this was a good enough reason to pull from a fight. I don't think it is a made up or exaggerated injury. But I do think it might have been known and this fight was never really going to happen. Obviously I'm just guessing, but I think it is very possible they led us to believe they would fight just to help TUF.

They already said he did a round of antibiotics and it did nothing for him Who said that and with whom do they work for? A very small % of people would not take to antibiotics in Brock's case. The 2nd time I was sick the antibiotics had me feeling fine in a few days. Brock has either been dealing with Diverticulosis and hiding it, or he has diverticulitus and doesn't want to get punched in the face.
