Jens Pulver and Drew McFedries added to TFC 18 on May 27

Kansas City, KS - The Titan Fighting Championship (www.TitanFighting.com) announced Monday two of its four featured fights scheduled to air nationally on HDNet (www.HD.net) as a part of Titan Fighting Championship 18 on Friday, May 27.

Making his Titan debut will be former UFC lightweight champion Jens "'Lil Evil" Pulver, 24-14-1, who will be joined by his former Miletich Fighting Systems teammate and UFC veteran Drew "The Massacre" McFedries, 9-6.

"Our first two events on HDNet were met with both praise from critics and fans alike. Titan Fighting 18 will be a continuation of our formula for Titan Fighting 16 and 17 with a mix of nationally recognized names and rising prospects," said Titan Fighting CEO Joe Kelly. "Pulver and McFedries will not be the only national headliners on this show as we are completing negotiations for two other high profile fights. In short, Titan Fighting 18 will be our deepest show in history."

The event will emanate from the historic Memorial Hall in Kansas City, Kansas. Tickets are now on-sale at all local Ticketmaster outlets, Ticketmaster.com, and the Memorial Hall box office.

Pulver is experiencing a career resurgence on the heels of a two-fight win streak. He will look to increase his win streak to three when he takes on fellow featherweight Mike Powell, who is 10-2 and fights out of Waterloo, Iowa.

McFedries will attempt to record his eighth career TKO victory when he faces rising middleweight prospect Darryl Cobb, 6-2.

Kansas City, KS - A welterweight showdown between UFC veteran Rory Markham and Strikeforce and Bellator Fighting Championships veteran Rudy Bears has been added to Titan Fighting Championship 18 (www.TitanFighting.com) on Friday, May 27 at the historic Memorial Hall in Kansas City, KS.
The event, which will also feature former UFC lightweight champion Jens Pulver as well as a hard-hitting middleweight bout between UFC veteran Drew McFedries and undefeated Strikeforce veteran Darryl Cobb, will be televised live on HDNet (www.HD.net) starting at 10 p.m. ET.

I'm pretty sure McFredries has some pretty good standup. Other than that, I cant remember hearing much about him.

Jens Pulver (21-14-1) has a new opponent for his HDNet-televised Titan Fighting Championships 18 main event on May 27.

Pulver will go from featherweight to a 140-pound catchweight fight with the previously retired Brian Davidson (6-3).

Pulver's original opponent, Mike Powell (11-3), was pulled from the card
after officials learned he violated his bout agreement and took an
unauthorized fight on April 23. Powell lost that fight via second-round
TKO, which prompted the Kansas Athletic Commission to nix his plans of
fighting on May 27.

Titan Fighting Championships 18 takes place at Memorial Hall in Kansas
City, Kan., and the four-fight main card airs live on HDNet.

event have sent organizers scrambling to re-stock the card. However,
the efforts of Titan officials have led to the last-minute additions to a
rising brother act in the sport of mixed martial arts in former
Oklahoma State wrestling standouts Jake Rosholt and Jared Rosholt.
The decision to add the high-profile Rosholt Brothers to the card was
necessitated after Titan officials were recently informed that both Rory Markham and Drew McFedries
would be unable to compete this Friday on the HDNet (www.HD.net)
televised card (starting at 10 p.m. ET) as had been previously
scheduled.
