| Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira revealed in his column for Brazilian site Jornal Extra that he has information regarding the middleweight champion Anderson Silva.
“The mystery about the UFC Rio card that takes place on Aug 27th starts to be unfolded. I have information in which my friend and current biggest phenomenon Anderson Silva will make the main fight of the event versus Japan’s Yushin Okami,” he wrote.
“They already fought in 2006 but that bout didn’t have a conventional end because Anderson was disqualified by throwing an illegal hit.”
Nogueira also says the current climate sees Anderson moving up to the 205lb division due to the lack of adversaries at his current weight class.

| I'd love to see Anderson Silva vs Mauricio Rua. |

| Toss up between Shogun/Anderson. I'd really like to see Anderson fight Mousasi down the road. After a fight or two I imagine Anderson would be given a shot at Jones. I honestly don't know who I'd pick in that one. i | |

| Recently Anderson said he wanted to stay at MW, and new contenders could open up, be cool, but not gonna hold my breath.
I just don't see Mousasi ever working his way into a fight with Anderson, time will tell though.
I love Anderson, but Bones would probably wrestle him up, still would never count out some crazy KO though.

| If u wanna see anderson win to eventually get a title shot give him shogun, page or forrest again. If u wanna see him get worked and possibly lose, give him bader or evans. Either way bones is the only guy i can actually see beating spidey.........unless he lands one of his magical ko's | |
