Condit vs Stun Gun at 132

I got Condit good fight. This is a hell of a test for the stun gun! What happens if he wins, is he the #1 contender? I think if Condit wins he gets a title shot.

So beating Dan Hardy and Dong Hyun Kim gets you a title shot? He needs to do more than that to get a title shot.

No on Stun Gun.

Maybe with Condit, I would probably lean another win though

Fitch and Penn would be ahead of him with possibly Kampmann and Diego also.

Not a bad fight. That card is pretty stacked with solid fights.

They shouldn't be over Condit. IMO the most deserving is still Fitch followed by Condit.

Kampmann beat Condit and just lost to Shields. He is ahead of Condit.

Kampmann is always fun to watch. I had him winning the Diego fight but Dana didnt so that hurts his chances.

Do you realize how fucked up your rankings would be if you went on the basis of "fighter A beat fighter B two years ago so he's definitely ahead of him in the division"

Cant wait to see this fight. I hope stun gun wins but I think Condit will be just alittle better.

Stun Gun is a very solid fighter, I think it's a pretty good matchup if a I ignore thoughts of Penn vs Condit. Kim will try and takedown Condit and do his thing, no way he should try and stand with him. Condit has shown weakish takedown D in the past, but I think his overall game is too complete for Stun Gun, if Kim wins it's because of some LnP. Condit 29-28.

Feeling the same LA. I think Stun Gun will be able to get him down but see Condit's striking picking him apart and Kim fading down the stretch. Leaning 29-28 Condit or possibly late TKO. Love the fight though

Yeah this is going to be a very good fight for the 4th of July card.

Good fight...i can see Stun Gun controlling early and Condit taking over late like the Macdonald bout...and kind of like the Stun Gun-Diaz bout.

I'll take Condit.

Neither Kampmann or Condit are close to a title fight. Kampmann is coming of 2 losses but both were very close and controversial against top 10 guys. Condit on the other hand has 1 win against a top 20 guy in his whole career and lost to Kampmann 2 years ago. Neither are top 7 though.

I thought Kampmann won both of his last two fights.

Ranking doesn't equal title shot. If so, then Jon Fitch would fight for every title fight with GSP. He's been the clear #2 for years now.

Condit and Kim are in line. Both have put on ridiculous runs, and if the BJ/Fitch fight doesn't go down, then the winner of Kim/Condit is the next best thing MMA has to offer, besides the winner of Diaz/Daley, which would be debatable.

Also, if Anthony Johnson commits more to his ground game, then watch for him to climb the rankings and quickly. He still presents the most interesting match to GSP in my mind physically.

It's gotten to the stage with GSP where he needs fresh challenges, no point in supplying him with endless rematches.
