| Name same great fights that we could've seen but for some reason never happened? They have to be believable so no Cain Velasquez vs Bas Rutten fights.
Randy Couture vs Dan Henderson Fedor Emelianenko vs Josh Barnett Chuck Liddell vs Anderson Silva Frank Shamrock vs Randy Couture Big Nog vs Andre Arlovski

| Frank vs Randy??? hm woulda been interesting
but really Frank Shamrock vs Bas Rutten
was about to happen, Bas was dropping down to try and become the first in UFC to win 2 titles in 2 divisions, and then his body exploded.
2 torn ACLs, elbow problem, back problem and all kinds of other freak accidents in his training camp ended Bas' career.
Miletich vs Frank

| To keep in the spirt of the weekend
Dan Henderson vs. Mauricio Rua in PRIDE Dan Henderson vs. Tito Ortiz Dan Henderson vs. Chuck Liddell Quinton Jackson vs. Tito Ortiz
Obviously Tito in his prime.
Obviously prime Frank Shamrock against any other relevant LHW that came after he dropped the title with the exception of Ortiz.

Lol, I actually thought of all these fights also but only posted 5. All would've been great.

| Honestly, Randy probably takes that fight because Frank was never a tremendous wrestler. He could wrestle, but his scrambles were self admittedly poor. | |

True enough. It would have been a good fight either way, I just think Randy would be able to control things by and large.

| I agree wtih that but you have to remember with Frank Shamrock it didnt matter if you controlled things by and large
The Tito and Jeremy Horn fights proved taht, Frank was vrtually controlled the whole Horn fight and most of the first 3 rounds by Tito before pulling out impressive victories.

| An impressive CC stat is that he is 3-0 against the much bigger Josh Barnett. | |

This is why CroCop in his prime was great. He had amazing takedown defense, and still does have pretty good TDD but his striking has overall gone south. Barnett did not offer much to CroCop, hard as hell to get down and Barnett does not have the best striking. I'd pick Barnett over him now, especially in a cage...probably by knockout believe it or not.

| All good points. I wish we got to see all the Pride and UFC guys fight each other at their peak instead of now where all the new UFC fans try to tarnish their legacies. | |
