Nick Diaz wants to box Fernando Vargas or Ricardo Mayorga

Diaz is itching to box, and although he recently re-signed with Strikeforce (according to his trainer, Cesar Gracie), the deal includes a clause that allows Diaz to compete in a boxing match this year.

And Diaz is expected to exercise that clause. Facing a recognizable boxer can potentially land Diaz the largest paycheck of his career.

"In boxing, when you're a superstar, you get millions of dollars," Gracie told ESPN.com. "In MMA, you're not making that kind of money.

"We're in negotiations right now with [boxing promoter] Don Chargin. We would very much like to take a boxing match. It would probably be at super middleweight [168 pounds].

"There have been a few names kicked around. One of them is Fernando Vargas, another is Ricardo Mayorga."

Vargas is a blimp and would have to fight high up around 175 which would be ahuge mistake, same with Mayorga, a guy who says he feels best at 147

He's a pussy for having almost no experience yet still trying to fight former champions in fights he'd still be the underdog in?

first of all what do we always hear about the Diaz brothers

They have boxing experience and are the greatest boxers to ever fart in a mma training facility yet alone step in the cage or ring for a mma fight.

and playing up Mayorga and Vargas as former champions is like playing up your new 63 year old girlfriend as a former playboy model.

Neither one of them is relevant in boxing, the fact that Mayorga is about to fight Cotto shows what a joke Bob Arum is and nothing else.
