| I still think Pettis should get the shot over Guillard but to be honest Im on the Jim Miller bandwagon to get a shot or my boy Aussie George before either of them. | |

| Melvin ran from Jeremy in his last fight, and has a ton of losses in recent history. How many george, jim and anthony got? Less combined than Melvin does in the ufc alone I believe. One KO off a dude off a loss and he's a contender in the front of the line? Way to live in the fucking moment. Fourth back. | |

| I think George would beat him. George is going to be the champ soon in my opinion. | |

| Melvin would wreck George in a brutal, swift, and devastating manner | |

| Miller and George are ahead of both. If I had to pick one of the two it would be Pettis. Melvin should really be 3-3 in his last 6 fights...for him to get a title shot before miller, Aussie george, or Pettis would be a crime. Give him Sherk or Kenny and see how he performs. | |

| Pettis, Miller, Sot, Melvin after a win.
Even though his predicted return in long from now, Guillard vs Sherk would be a good fight.

| That would be an interesting fight although it sounds like Sherk will be on the shelf for a while. | |

I dont think so, but I didnt think he would destroy Dunham either lol. Melvin could stuff George's takedowns especially early and his handspeed would be way too much. I think it would be like the Lauzon-George 1st round x10

| Pettis is the best matchup it appears. Melvin has been dominated by less than explosive ground fighters before. Bocek, Miller, Sot, could all realistically threaten him with submissions. Yes he smashed Evan Dunham, but to think he's immune to takedowns or submissions entirely when he had a weakness before may be a little over the top. But why is Pettis the best match up? Because he is unorthodox, fast, explosive and hits hard. We saw Melvin shy totally away from Lil Heathen. Pettis would get him after he gassed. | |
