I believe he could use Karate to slow the fight down and sustain a dangerous attack throughout the fight - a trait he has notoriously lacked. GSP has also said recently he wants to train more on the karate aspect of his fighting style and I believe he has been focusing on it, as evidenced by his recent fights. He strikes but is seldom struck. Anderson Silva took Chute box Muay Thai forms and added Machida Karate. People ask if Machida will change MMA. He already has. | |
