| I'd like to see the UFC do some switching of upcoming bouts.
Meathead should fight Brendan Schaub. Former NFL athletes with similar styles and similar promise. Crocop should be switched to the Brazil card vs. Nog.
Yves Edwards could fight Gomi in a senior tour battle, but with Gomi off a loss that makes less sense. He could also be fed to Melvin Guillard. But I'd really like to see him take on Clay Guida instead. Guida vs Pettis makes no sense.
Melvin is now in title contention, bad win and performance against Stevens or not. Screw Clay Guida vs Anthony Pettis. Seriously. Screw that fight. Showtime vs The Young Assassin must happen. Not only would it make more sense in the division, it is a fight I'd die to see. Otherwise, Melvin could fight Yves Edwards.
Evan Dunham should fight someone else off a loss. Cody McKenzie, or Cole Miller perhaps? Gomi? Florian still makes sense. Or he could rematch the Muscle Shark. A lot of options here.
Mike Guymon should fight Thales Lietes or Matt Horwich(in the MFC) in a fight no one who doesn't work for a blog would be willing to watch on purpose.
Matt Wiman vs Clay Guida also makes sense. Have I mentioned how ridiculous Clay Guida vs Anthony Pettis is is with the current state of the division?
Pat Barry should end the UFC career of Chieck Kongo. Although Carwin may be doing that already.
Mike Brown took this fight on short notice, and while I know there will be a lot of call for his dismissal, give him George Roop in one more last chance.

| Im the first to critcize Kongo's most recent performance, but Barry has also been less then scintillating. I mean sure he looked good vs Hardonk, but Kongo KO'd that chump as well.
Cheick could hang in this fight. And a much more reasonable fight for Kongo then playing sacrificial lamb to Carwin.

| and i doubt the former TUF, former NFL guys square up in the near future.
I'd think the UFC has them on opposite sides of the imaginary bracket.

I'd think the UFC has them on opposite sides of the imaginary bracket. There is no bracket. MMAlogic, a suspected paid Zuffa agent is responsible for that silliness.

| If he keeps working at the kind of pace he is now he could easily be top 5 one day. | |
