Who didn't see that coming? It's all part of a conspiracy to create a new Carbon tax.....

As I've already stated, the current CO2 levels PPM is the highest the Planet has seen in 15 million years, a time when the planet was very different geologically (see post above). At this time, both the Earth's temperatures and CO2 levels resulted in a ice free planet, therefore causing the sea level to be 350ft higher then it's current state. With the situation the planet is in now, with ice cap recession at it's current pace, we could conceivably see an ice free planet again within the next 100 years, though I don't know that for sure. This would result in 4 billion of the planet's 6.5 billion people, to live in zones which would be under water. Now we want to act like man made CO2 isn't part of the problem, but looking at the situation in the Pre-Industrial era it sure gives the indication it is. Since 1750 (Pre-Industrial) the CO2 levels have risen by 38%, peaking within the last 10 years, a time when we've seen significant recession in the ice caps. In the 10 thousand years preceding the Indsutrial era, the Earth's CO2 levels remained between 260-280 PPM, the current level as of 2009 is 387 PPM. Now relating this to water vapor concentrations (a greenhouse gas itself), indicates that warming associated with increased concentrations of the greenhouse gases (notably CO2) also will increase the concentration of water vapor. Because water vapor is a greenhouse gas this results in further warming, a "positive feedback" that amplifies the original warming.

I don't know what you guys are talking about, but I do know it's cold as hell and has been for two weeks.

Back to the subject at hand however. Global warming is nothing new, it is fucking ancient! You can read all the science, quote reports by scientist, look at raw temp data until you are blue in the face, but history has all the answers that scientist ignore.
Before we progress, realize that if you are a scientist and your paycheck depends on global warming being real? Just like political pollsters who need to prove their side is right, you are going to find global warming or they will hirer a scientist to prove global warming while you teach biology at the local middle school for a third of your former salary.
We have had 3 ice ages. What does that tell you? It tells me the temp got warmer before, the ice melted and then somehow re-froze...3 times. What does this mean? It means you have enough shorts, buy parkas, snow shoes, and ski's while they are still cheap because Mr. Freezemiester is about to make his presence known in the next 1-3 thousand years.
