| This guy is letting the hype go to his head. Brock vs Werdum would be alot like Brock vs Mir....only worse. I shouldn't have to explain this. Fedor will beat the snot out of him in a rematch and Overeem would have sex with him if it was allowed. (I think Reem would be game)
Werdum will lose within 2 fights. He might get a gimme in the tourney, but he will eventually cross paths with Fedor or Reem and they will shut him up!

| Fedor is Fedor, Brock and Reem are animals. Werdum would need alot of luck to beat them. Luck shined on him big time already. It won't happen again. | |

He's also on another planet in terms of BJJ skills in comparison to Mir. The Brock hype has been busted. Why is everyone still so ga ga for this guy?

The Brock hype has been busted. Why is everyone still so ga ga for this guy? Captain please! Werdum is not Shane Carwin or Cain Velasquez so stop it now! Brock would snatch him up and do what he would want to do with Werdum. Fedor made a mistake, and if he is any shade of the fighter he has been he takes Werdum in a rematch with ease. Reem is another monster who could lose on the mat to Werdum, but I don't see that happening. Werdum is a top 8-12 fighter riding a wave right now. Soon he will bottom out. Wait and see.

Dude is 5-2 and only beat carwin cause shane has zero stamina. Yet a world class BJJ practitioner(which Mir is not) has no chance against him? Come on now.

Wait and see. +1 roberto traven too was also highly decorated in bjj yet mir subbed him. its all about how you utilize the skill in an mma match. also i too get the feeling the dude is riding this win a bit too high. like others have mentioned, in a rematch fedor wouldnt be so careless and would dominate him wether standing or on the ground imo

Yet a world class BJJ practitioner(which Mir is not) has no chance against him? Come on now. yeah yeah and arlovski lost to fedor cus he has a weak chin and fedor lost to werdum cus he made a rookie mistake like a fighter who only had a 2 fight experience. next question, in the end one fight won and one lost. also in mma anything can happen so i wouldnt rule out werdum subbin brock but i doubt he could. mir is no world class bjj practitioner however he is a world class mma fighter. werdum doesnt poses the striking mir does or his stregnth. for that would brock be scared to tie up with him knowing he could over power werdum. who know. does it matter. werdum wouldnt beat fedor in a rematch and fedor wont fight in the ufc (and doesnt need to) so who care

| I got Werdum tapping Brock. Brock is big, a little bigger than Werdum. To Brock, size means everything, in MMA and especially BJJ there is more to consider. | |

| Brock doesn't even have to take it to the ground against Werdum, this isn't 2 guys who are the hardest hitters in MMA, Brock could easily stand with Werdum and I wouldn't be surprsied if he clipped him and finished him there. On the ground, we know Werdum is legit, but lets not act like Mir blows now and Werdum would be completely different. Brock would be able to score the shot at one point or another and just lay his huge body on Werdum, in ADCC there isn't a huge monster guy to compare to like Brock. Once on the ground Brock stays chest to chest, and does his thing. | |

| As if a clown like Lesnar could control an ADCC champ enough to GnP him. Mir is overrated and that one win makes people believe he is immune to submission. Enough. Lesnar is and always was trash. | |

| I love this matchup for Brock, he could dictate where he'd want the fight to take place, Werdum isn't much of a threat standing, could score takedowns for points or to hold position, too bad it can't be made.... | |

| I think the blue print to beat Brock has been laid out. You pretty much have to be a solid striker with high level wrestling. While Werdum is a master on the ground, I just dont see him pulling off the submission with Comprido in Brock's camp, gameplanning the battle on the ground, the whole time. The submission of Fedor was more due to Fedor's over aggression and lack of respect for Werdum's offense from his back. | |

| Brock could win this fight depending on his confidence. Right now he has got to be doubting himself...who wouldnt be. He doesnt have a long career to look back and say I know I can do this without a doubt because he is still a guy with only 7 fights. I think Brock would beat Werdum but it definitely wouldnt be a gimmie. | |

| I have a hard time believing a guy with a good double leg and big fists and a yellow belt in BJJ would survive the guard of a guy like Werdum. Mir was not an ADCC winner and I have seen him thoroughly handled in BJJ competition. He's lost to Sobral, Maia, Nelson among others. | |

| you make good points wolfy however all of those guys beat mir in a grappling match, not an mma match. roberto traven too is a adcc champ and mir subbed him without a problem. werdum has the best chance in the division to sub lesnar however mir too had a really good chance but didnt even come close. in mma anything can happen and werdum can sub lesnar but i would favor lesnar to tko him by gnp than to see werdum sub him. | |
