So in other words, Liddell has a bigwig job title with no actual responsibility.

What his real job is, Chcuk will be going on MMA forums under Charles The Ravens King saying Fedor is not even a top 10 HW.

Yeah, I'd pick Chuck to beat Randy or Tito today, no problem.

not saying he needed to face them off against each other, but look how much money Bob Arum made off of Duran, Hearns and Leonard when they were doing the grandpa tour. Tito vs CHuck would still sell IMO

Chuck's job will be comparable to other former greats with various sports teams, no actual qualifications, but with everythings he's done, can conduct interviews, apperances ect Dana made have usually made, offer opinions on various topics; he'll be useful.

On millking their star power, well Dana tried, but Chuck kept getting knocked out, Tito keeps losing, and he did cash in on Randy with Toney; only so much you can do when 2 guys are shadows of their former selves and another wants to retires for movies. If you're refering to appearance tours, too early for those to be setup.

Overall, I'm glad Chuck retired, far too many sad KO losses for me to handle at this point.

LA, I think Dana could have done alot more, have Chuck vs Tito as a co head liner, Randy seems to want to retire, but I dont think Chuck did

look at Roy Jones, even though he isnt dominant or really relevant in his division he has fought Joe Calzaghe, Jeff Lacy and Bernard Hopkins (along with some bums).

Tito keeps losing cause Dana seems to have failed too raelize Tito wasnt prime Tito after the CHuck stoppage (he beat Ken in the 3rd fight and has nothing since then)

You're risking hurting Chuck's legacy even more, whether I think Chuck would still beat Tito or not, you think he wants to chance Tito KOing Chuck cold, look how many times Chuck has been Ko'd in his last fights.

agree with that, Im just telling you what would sell, if hes worried about Chicks health so much he probably doesnt have him facing Wandy, Rua, Evans and Franklin after the Jardine loss.

Those fights are way too before that fact, it's after Franklin everyone said to themselves, Chuck it's time....

A lot of fights would still sell, doesn't mean you should make them.

Thought it was obvious I disagree, my first post summed that up What was he supposed to do? Keep throwing Chuck out there to get KO'd? He's giving Tito good fights, he keeps losing, gave Randy a high profile fight at least in terms of "eyes" with Toney, but Randy wants to call it quits for movies. Handle as best it could have been...

I could see Chuck headbutting cans or maybe having a notary on his forehead to notarize paperwork via headbutt. That is about it. Chuck is about as smart as my dogs. (not my Lab) He can barely put a sentence together for God's sake. What kind of executive could he be?

Loss Rich Franklin KO (Punch) UFC 115 - Liddell vs. Franklin 6/12/2010 1 4:55
Loss Mauricio Rua TKO (Punches) UFC 97 - Redemption 4/18/2009 1 4:28
Loss Rashad Evans KO (Punch) UFC 88 - Breakthrough 9/6/2008 2 1:51
Win Wanderlei Silva Decision (Unanimous) UFC 79 - Nemesis 12/29/2007 3 5:00
Loss Keith Jardine Decision (Split) UFC 76 - Knockout 9/22/2007 3 5:00
Loss Quinton Jackson TKO (Punches) UFC 71 - Liddell vs. Jackson 5/26/2007 1 1:53

Great farewell fights were setup, the results just weren't desired. Can't chance Chuck going down by KO again, just can't, at least not under the UFC banner.

Yeah no shit, ergo, they tried setting up good farewell fights without desired results, how many times should they try? what if Chuck keeps getting KO'd? it was handled correctly.

your not getting what Im saying

your saying Rua, Franklin and Evans where farewell fights when they werent, IMO, they were trying to establish him as still being a contendor (all except the Frankin fight)

Rua and Evans were no way farewell fights they were establishing who contendors where

I do get it, and Franklin was a fight setup to be a last hurray, just didn't panout as desired. You risk Chuck getting KO'd for a 4th time in a row just to "possibly" get a win? And It'd be an insult to Chuck to try giving him a winnable last fight, with a semi-can. And Tito could have been a very dangerous fight even at this point.
