A trilogy fight between middleweights Jason "Mayhem" Miller (24-7 MMA, 1-1 SF) and Tim Kennedy (12-3 MMA, 3-1 SF) could be part of the Jan. 29 Showtime-televised Strikeforce event in San Jose, Calif.

Sources close to the fighters told MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) both contenders are interested in the matchup, which soon could be signed.

Mayhem should already be fighting Jacare if that is what he wants. He shouldn't have to fight Kennedy to get a shot. Everyone wants Jacare and Mayhem to fight anyways.

As for Diaz vs Mayhem, it will happen down the road. Too many people want that fight to forget about it. This is actually a good move by SF.

Jake won the fight, but he had to lay all over Mayhem and he wouldn't fight him. The first Jacare/Mayhem fight doesn't matter because he grappled wit Jacare the whole fight and held his own. He didn't do that and looked like he was gonna beat Jacare in the second. People want to see them fight and I think it would be a good fight for the MW title and for SF. Who else should fight Jacare?

I am glad that you get it. Mayhem vs Jacare! Mayhem just beat Kennedy a few years ago, so I think they should save that fight for down the road. I can't think of any MW I would rather see fight Jacare for the title right now.

Well Coker hinted at Lawler vs Jacare. And considering that Lawler when fighting at 185, has flattened 2 straight opponents in the 1st rnd, I think it's fair that he gets the call over Mayhem.
