I have not heard great things from die hard fans I've spoke with, but I cannot comment my self, I don't watch. Is this one of the best shows on TV I am not watching?

This show and Always Sunny get the most hype that I see...of shows that I don't watch.

i liked the earlier seasons of dexter a lot more, but nothing wrong with this one

Yes without question. The first 4 seasons were dynamite. This season was ok, but still easily my favorite show on TV and I watch pretty much all the big-time ones that get praised

I've seen several episodes and it was pretty interesting, I liked it. Time to get the DL machine churning again.

I loved the season but hated the ending.

I agree Josh it was a letdown. Hope they don't fuck next season up. I hate when writers fuck shows up. I loved Heros when it first came out then they fired all the good writers and the show just got extremely stupid. I hope Dexter stays good for a few more seasons.

yeah they fucked that some all up way before they took the circus turn lol. It went from a badass blood and guts action show and raped it when they fired the original writers and in the process lost there barrings on the show. Characters would lose powers get them back and not have the powers they started with... it got really stupid and it made no since at all to people who watched it from the start.

Just for fun I'll give you an example of the level of stupid these writers took it to. In season 2 or 3 I can't remember but a main character forgets who he is and falls in love with this girl in the process of trying to figure shit out. Anyway they get caught and the main character is told who he is and he gets away, but he leaves the girl and the show never mentions her again. The main character who is suppose to be all about being a good guy just up and leaves the chick he loves in the arms of badguys to go help other people and leave her to die. They kind of just expect you to just go with it I guess lol

lol tell me about the circus shit. there used to be a show called carnivale it only lasted 2 seasons on HBO im trying to see if they copied it.

Carnival was kinda cool.

Carnival was cool but no they didn't copy it because in heros all the circus people had powers as aposed to a couple in Carnival. And in heros the villan was the head cirus guy who had the ability to control the ground and rocks and shit but the more people with abilities he had around him the more powerful he became.

I wish Dexter did not always follow the same formula.

I have mixed feelings about that, yeah I want Dexter to do deferent stuff but I hate when shows get away from what made them good in the first place. I think the writers for Dexter have done a pretty good job of keeping that same formula fresh. Lets examine this alittle

Rival Serial Killers- Even though I would love if Dexter would just go after some regular murderers we as viewers are use to him being so damn good at what he does that regular murderers are too easy, but the evil masterminds Dexter finds himself up against are perfect opponents. I too want him to hunt someone completely deferent and new but they got to be badass

Cops on his tail- Oh come on man its a show about a serial killer, they got to have him run from the cops lol
