I know a lot of us on this board work out on a regular basis. Some of you probably have intense workouts that MMA fighters have and some of you probably just work out for your health like I do. So I thought it would help to have a thread where we post our workouts. It might help motivate some of us to exercise.

My last workout was quarter mile intervals. I would run a quarter mile at 75% then I would rest for one minute. Then I would repeat this ten times.

Try to add a tenth of a mile every two to three weeks to try to challenge yourself, and to keep your body working.

Pretty basic... 4 day split routine with free weights (At an old mans pace)... And for cardio the weather has turned to crap so the bike has been brought indoors and put on a resistance stand. I alternate my cardio between the bike and elliptical 6 days a week for 45 minutes a day right now.

As far as gym training for any form of combat sport, my body finally told me to call it quits. Workout thread Oldman Between a broken neck (Cause still relatively unknown - But think stress from decades of wrestling finally took its toll), arthritically shot right elbow from a break 15 years ago, arthritic right shoulder from a torn rotators cuff about ten years ago, an arthritic right knee from ligament tears skiing as a teenager and a chronic lower back which I can only assume is from a combo of working out and working hard. If I could transfer my healthy left side to my right and clear that neck thing up, I'd still be rolling hard whenever possible rather than just screwing around with my kids... Wink

I do about 15-20 minutes of light lifting/situps/pushups most mornings. I mtn bike 1-3 times a week, 1 hr plus. That's a killer workout. Ride my bike to work, 4 miles, 4 times a week.

I try to do physical activities more then I try to "workout".
