Freakshow idea - Lesnar vs. Kimbo.

If the UFC wants to restore some of Lesnar's luster to casuals who have watched him get the shit beat out of him for the majority of his last two fights, why not pit him against Kimbo? Remember, Slice is 1-1 in the UFC, the same record Lesnar had inside the promotion when he got his title fight. I know hardcores would scream and complain but the fight would be PPV gold and get an insulting amount of ESPN coverage.

which truth of the matter is, Brock needs a confidence builder.

It's not like he can actually work his way up the ladder like everyone else had to and it's not like he did so in the first place. He beat Heath Herring who is a shadow of his former journeyman self. This is the kind of fight the UFC needs to make if they want to give him title shots again.

He was getting completely tooled in wrestling, striking and BJJ the entire fight. Nog leaned into one kick and fell down, but save that few second sequence Herring won literally no other moment of that fight.

This question was all the rage in 2007 with more than just noobs. I still would pick Lesnar though.

Herring rocked him bad, in the 1st I believe, he hesitated for unknown reasons when he could have easily finished it there, it was weird how he didn't pounce. From there Nog did win the fight though.

White should put this on Fox or NBC

This match would get eaten up by EVERYBODY, hype would be insane

I would watch it out of spite for the very notion of it.

nope, herring was ranked #10 i believe and still a gatekeeper. prior to fighting brock , herring had just beaten kongo whom at the time was on the verge of cracking the top 10 and was coming off a win against cro cop who was in prime in his previous fight when he got ko'd by gonzaga. so yeah herring was the same herring as always, a simple gatekeeper for the top 10. brock was favored to lose in this match up.

Herring had 20 pounds more of fat and had lost a lot of speed. Look at him when he fought Fedor, and when then when he fought Nog the third time or Lesnar. Everyone dwells on the kick, and ya, it was a head kick his opponent ducked into, very nice, whatever sure, but other than that Nog beat him from post to post. He also lost a decision to Jake O'brien in this stage of his career.

he lost to jake prior to fighting nog and beating kongo, the same kongo that beat cro cop. a cro cop that was still in prime ,if anything declinin out of prime, but still a top 10 cro cop.

Yo honestly I felt Kongo deserved that decision. Heath Herring sucks.

by the time randleman and coleman fought fedor they sucked as well. well maybe not sucked but were on the decline like herring was after they got ko'd by smaller fighters in the ufc yet people love to say fedor has wins over so many ufc champs. those two were wrestlers fightin in an mma fight were cain is a wrestler fighting as an mma fighter in a mma bout.
