| Now that we have gone over the 10 biggest Freak Show Fighters in MMA History
10. Bob Sapp vs Kinnuku Mantaro - Bob Sapp versus a guy in costume pretending to be a Japanese comic book hero. No further explanation needed.
9. Royce Gracie vs Akebono - Royce vs a big fat slob in K-1, I guess they figured they would go back to the old days were Royce fought a guy that was amazingly larger. Royce pulls guard on the 400 pounder. Ouch. and got an armbar with ease.
8. Kimbo Slice vs Tank Abbott - The internet sensation vs Tank Abbott in a main event. Uhh seriously? ya they weer, even sadder they acted like a win for Kimbo over an old ass Tank would mean something.
7. Fedor vs Zuluzinho - bst MMA fighter in the world vs a son of a Zulu warrior. Ok. An amazing mismatch as Zuluzinho was crushed.
6. Telia Tuli vs Gerard Gordeau - The first match in UFC history, how can this not be a freakshow. Add in it was a sumo wrestler vs a tall lanky white guy that could kick (who knew). Maybe this should be higher up the list but I think this is where it should rank.
5. Minowa vs Giant Silva - the 7'5 guy vs the guy that loves fighting freaks. It was over very fast as the Giant was way in over his head (like always).
4. Hong Man Choi vs Fedor - Fedor decides to pick on another freak.
3. Emmanuel Yarborough vs Keith Hackney - a 600 pounder vs a little 180 pounder. Man this match had it all, palm slaps, broken hands, and 40 consecutive punches to the back of the head.
2. Jose Canseco vs Hong Man Choi - seriously who let these guy in a ring.
1. Big Nog vs Bob Sapp - this was actually an awesome fight that saw Sapp power bombing Noguiera until Nog eventually wore him down and got the submission.
Honorable mention - Bob Sapp vs Cro Cop , Minowa vs Butterbean, Hong Man Choi vs Cro Cop | |
