| I've had him in the top ten before, but as is always the case with this question, who would we boot from the top ten? The only possibilities would be AA, who knocked him out recently, or Josh Barnett, who suffers mainly due to the fact he failed a steroid test. | |

| Looking at our rankings alone, we have 8-12, Barnett, Rogers, AA, Overeem and Werdum.
In my rankings I'd only include Barnett from the current top 10, even though he has steroid issues and a longer layoff then AA, I still consider him a top 5 HW talent.
AA is not in my top 10 due to his layoff and consecutive losses, yes one was to Fedor, it would take one solid win for AA to be put back in at 6 or 7.
Rogers is not in my top 10 either, I put Overeem and Werdum ahead on him, not a fan.
A solid win over Struve and I could make the case he could be put in the 10 spot, his last two losses, one to Monson, a fight most think he won, and the other to AA which had a bad standup. Struve is probably a top 20 HW, so it would be a pretty solid win for Roy.

| Roy would have to beat someone higher ranked than him to jump into the top ten.
Who has Alistair beat to deserve to be in any top ten btw?

| Nobody really, I actually have Werdum as my 10 guy, with Reem at 11 | |

| Not on my rankings, but very borderline. Mainly because i don't rank Struve all that high. | |

| No, Struve isn't that impressive of a win but it's a step in the right direction for Nelson. | |

| He'd have to beat someone in the top 10 at this point to enter the top 10. |

Struve is borderline top 10? How exactly do you come up with that conclusion?

| A win over Paul Buentello automatically places you at the cusp of the top ten. Duh | |

I forgot what a factor Buentello is in the HW division...

| Not sure who I'd bump to put him in. Rogers if he gets taken apart by Overeem | |

| He has been in my top ten for a bit. He beat AA imo. AA was a minute from getting tapped. He doesn't have the stength to get Roy out of that position and he was in trouble. Affliction had the refs going that night. They had to get a legit guy in line for the winnner of the big fight (Fedor). Anyone who disagrees with Nelson getting stood up has know idea what true BJJ is. Nelson is top ten for sure. I can go thru all of your top tens and pick one or three that he can beat. CHALLENGE?

| Not yet but he continues to get closer. Rematch with Rothwell would be a good sell for him. He really is one of the top UFC HW's out side of their top 6. Al Turk, Kongo, Mir, Nog or Rothwell are my early candidates for his next fight. | |
