i went to bertos homepage site and read stuff what he had to say..berto wanted 50 percent against mosley no more..in another link cotto says a fight with berto is not in the cards.he wants a rematch with pacquio after all said and done..berto claims he will fight anyone and will go for the knockout...he said the problem with fighting paul williams he has no star power...this is coming from a guy who had 972 live fans watch his last fight deep into hatian territory which is south florida...he and sportswrighter called his last win a career defining fight..lol. he doesnt know who this guy jones is calling him out..hmmm.i dont know who he is..never heared of him.....

HBO should teach this guy -and guys like Paul Williams and Chad Dawson- a lesson and just stop buying their fights for a year or two. Let them see how much $ they make off of live gates and lower fees from Showtime.
Maybe that would bring them back down to earth....

HBO loves to overpay for guys. Guys who don't pull in big numbers. They think they'll be stars. The guys like Berto and Dawson who can't draw but 1000 people to watch them fight.

Any hope I had for Andre Berto to improve was destroyed by this thread. I think Cotto made a mistake turning him down. He could've beaten him easily and appeared to have more left then he does. Berto's arrogance has kept him from learning how to fight. It doesn't matter who he fights. Pac, MW, Cotto, Bradly or Alexander. He's sure to be outclassed. Fame is not for everyone. Certainly not Andre Berto.
