Amir stoppage

The kid looked good in the first 30 seconds but Hendricks is a little fireball with great wrestling. Was it stopped too soon? Abso fucking lutely! Dan was in the wrong spot and obviously missed the illegal shots that barely touched the back of Amirs head. Now I think Hendricks would have still won, but you never know now.

I think it was stopped to fast BUT (this may not be a popular view) I would rather see an occasional fight stopped to soon because the refs are being careful and dont want the fighters to get hurt vs a ref who lets a fight go to long and a fighter gets perma-hurt

I can see your point, but it was too soon because the ref was out of position. He needs to put himself in a place where he can see what is going on. He basically say Johny's back and not a connecting punch.

Amir was half out. I don't have a horrible problem with it.

He was hurt, but those shots that stopped the fight were not landing is my problem.

Amir won a horrible season of TUF. He really isn't good, he reminds me of a poor mans Nog. Gets the hell beat out of him and grinds a sub. But he ISNT close to being that kind of fighter. Amir and CB will probably be out of the UFC in 2 years.

Hendricks though looks like has some major potential. He a 2x NCAA national champion and has heavy hands. Scary guy.

It is too bad about his size though. He's a little small for 170, but I doubt he could make 155.

You're nuts to not care about that fight. Amir has a solid all around game, but needs to work on his wrestling. Hendricks is going to beat some big names.

The last 4 shots by Hendricks looked bad from whre Dan was....none of them connected though.

Farmer- I do admit that Hendricks looked impressive. I was just more or less eager to see the two main events and didnt really care one way or another what happened until then lol.

Im usually not like that, but for 101 for some reason, all i cared about were the two main events.

I think it was a bad stoppage. that being said it if amir got up he probably would of continued to get the shit kicked out of him.
