MMA has four guys who have many people believing they are number one. Boxing for most of my life has never been this competitive like that. I love MMA.

Anderson beating someone like Forrest is a huge huge boost to his resume, but I agree. People like to say whoever won most recent is the best at whatever the topic is.

An Anderson win over Forrest might gain my vote, especially since the Fedor fight fell through.


Honestly, I can't tell you who is better between the big four.

I still won't put Anderson above Fedor just because Anderson's big wins at MW are good, but the division overall is ehhh. Franklin, Hendo, and possibly Marquerdt (not there yet IMO) are his only truely remarkable wins.

GSP and Fedor have a laundry list of top guys from their divisions.

That is why I think Anderson moving to 205 is the only way he makes up ground. Go fight Forrest, Shogun, & the loser of Rampgae-Rashad and we'll talk.

Yeah number one easy. Fighting a guy that walks around at 230 and was a fromer champ recentaly I don't see how you could deny a guy that has his winning streak in more then one division who started fighting in WW.
