Because over the last year SF won't even sign good and hardly damaged(record wise) fighters who have been cut from the UFC...guys like Thales, Karo, Daley, Rosholt, Larson, O'Brien, etc. Guys they should have picked up IMO but didnt probably because they were cut from the UFC. Jardine has just about no credibility left that says he should be signed when those other guys are pretty much in the indy's because SF does not want to sign guys cut from UFC right now.

ImpactFC seems like a more likely destination for Jardine. Maybe a fight for Glover Texiera or something...i would be interested in that seeing as Glover never fights anybody but looks really good.

Werdum was not let go like those guys were though. He had an option to stay with UFC for lower pay and got higher pay elsewhere. It's not like the guys i mentioned had the Werdum option..they were straight up red tagged.

Thing with Daley, he might have a suspension to look forward to.

I thought Strikeforce should have signed Thales Leites(Dana was against his release) and Brock Larson. Jake O'Brien would not have been a bad pick up at his age, potential and the fact that his only losses are against elite fighters.

agree on Leites and Obrien I bet we will see them get Obrien if he gives Mousasi a fight

Werdum was also let go by the UFC when SF wasn't where they are now. This issue was discussed in the earlier thread.

They tried to sign Karo and they coulldn't come to terms, I see no reason why they wouldn't give him a look with their weak LHW division.

Karo was also cut due to other issues not entirely relating to losses. They don't appear eager to sign any guys let go for losses. This is wise and it helps avert the "UFC leftover" rap that follows anyone not UFC.

I don't think they ever signed Monson....it was announced but then it was announced that he signed with Shine Fights.

They didn't and that division in very weak, so adding a Jardine who loses to great and solid LHWs isn't a bad thing

They cut him because he lost four fights and appears to have been tremendously over valued. Like Forrest, he earned his place in the top ten, and like Forrest he validated what everyone originally thought about him after the Cinderella story ended.

Uniformly top ten a year and a half ago. Exiled from the majors today. Forrest is another fighter who is going to be hard pressed to win a lot of fights against top guys in the future too by all indications.

Verdict is still out on Rashad Evans. Had he lost to Rampage, he would have been just another TUF overachiever.

I would've understood cutting him after the Bader fight, but his performance against Hamill was alright, if it wasn't for the point deduction he would have won in my opinion.
